Quality of service We had R&D service our old heat/ac for over 16 years. The quality of service was excellent and the cost reasonable. When it came time to upgrade to a new system, R&D's quote was not the lowest but based on years of service and past relationships, we had them install our new heat/ac system.

They did everything but fix the problem I called them about The humidifier on our furnace was leaking, so I called R&D. Daniel looked at the humidifier filter and said it needed to be replaced, so he replaced it and said that took care of the humidifier leak. He said the water heater was leaking, and he said he could help me replace it. He replaced the water heater under the warranty (it was less than two years old), and he said that would take care of the leak. The leak continued so I called somebody else. He actually listened to me and looked at the water line on the humidifier, and he found the leak in about 30 seconds. I told Daniel right up front that the humidifier was leaking, but he knew better. I won't call them again.

R&D is the best! R&D has serviced our HVAC for 13 years. With their bi-yearly service, it extended the life of our unit to 17 years! When the HVAC finally gave out, R&D diagnosed it was time for a new system. Ron came out the same day with four estimates for different systems. After getting three other company estimates, R&D had the best price for installation of the new system and service. Once the decision was made Ron ordered the system ASAP and was installed quickly and efficiently the next day. Everyone involved were knowledgeable, efficient, polite and personable.

DO NOT USE I had these guys install ac in my new office and all summer long its 85 in my office. they have been out like 5 times and still no solution. they recently told me that now it's because my windows are too big. but of course, they did nothing wrong. terrible company.

Hot Water Heater Replacement This was a preventive maintenance replacement of a 17 year old unit; no known issues with the old one and essentially an "in kind" replacement. R&D had previously replaced my HVAC units and I have a service contract with them. I've been very satisfied with their work which is why I went with them on this replacement. No regrets, I think the price was fair, the techs were great and they did nice work. A few hiccups; on specs in the contract and scheduling, but readily resolved. I would not hesitate to recommend R&D and I will continue to use them.
