About Organic catalogue

Why Organic Gardening? We believe that the best option to protect our food supplies, environment, health and wellbeing is to use organic growing methods. These harness the natural cycles and processes that promote plant growth. Your garden is your own little patch of the world to look after. Most gardens are quite small, but there are 15 million of them in the UK. Imagine the improvement to the environment if all of these gardens were cared for organically, and how much better it would be for our families, plants and wildlife. Organic growing doesn’t just mean throwing away the chemical weed killers and pesticide sprays. It is more exciting, challenging and satisfying. It is using natural ways to promote a healthy, productive and sustainable growing environment. It involves feeding the soil, encouraging wildlife, and getting creative with nature’s pest and disease controls. It’s not expensive, it’s practical – and it’s good for plants, people and communities. You don’t need a large space to grow organically, and it doesn’t have to be untidy! If you don’t have a garden or an allotment, then a window box or pots on your balcony or patio can in their own way be as productive. And if you mix your planting you can enhance your fruit and vegetables with beautiful flowers, enjoy the wildlife and have a succession of fresh produce. The Organic Gardening Catalogue is a trusted source of seeds and supplies. If you have any issues please do get in touch and we will resolve these for you. We wish you all the best for your Gardening Season.

Poor products and no quality control of plants or seeds Received an order in February 2024 (Order 22188772 - SO010900769) which included very poor rhubarb plants- crowns and buds and old sweetcorn seeds packed year end 2022. Planted rhubarb and 2 plants survived in a total of 7. Photos taken and uploaded. Offered replacement to be delivered 2025! Chased this up and requested refund instead. Hopefully will receive this in next 5 days. Sweetcorn seeds (Late Sativa and Medzi) sent again. Medzi seeds have been updated but Late Sativa are still year end 2022. Phoned customer services who said it doesn't matter, they last years ( no they don't!), who then suggested I send a photo and then send them back at my own expense. I asked them why they had sent a 2nd packet if their age didn't matter to which the reply was there were many staff, some who didn't know what they were doing as they were new in! Unbelievable. I will not be ordering from this company again. Poor products with no quality control.

Is it a coincidence that The OGC sold… Is it a coincidence that The OGC sold out to Suttons in the same year they received a coveted Royal Warrant? Presumably that made them more valuable and the sale lined the owner's pockets. There is no expert advice anymore, I wonder what happened to Susie and David. Delays in the past could be excused as they were a small but enthusiastic company, but not now they've gone corporate. I'll buy from Tamar or Real Seeds in future.

This company does not even earn 1star This company does not even earn 1star. They are appalling! Have waited 2 months for a delivery and have complained, like everyone else, several times asking for a refund. They will not give you a refund and fob you off with a renewed, expected delivery date each time. The latest response from them states that the expected delivery date will be in another 2months time. They should NOT BE TRADING. Surely someone can close them down!

Really bad service Really bad service. I swore last year I wouldn't use them again after my tomato plug plants were incorrectly packaged and all arrived broken in half. No replacements available. I have recently ordered some ferrous slug pellets. 1st order never received packaging or shipments info, replacement order not initiated until 4 days after request, still hasnt been dispatched. Customer service poor. Use Real Seeds Catalogue for seeds and buy everything else from a garden centre. The service you will receive here could not be worse.

I feel sorry for those poor plants. I order 9 vegetables plants on the 9th of November and I received them only today, Friday the 24th. The plants have arrived in terrible condition, packaging must have been put upside down. Out if their pots, dry and broken. Black kale full of insect bites. This is the worse plants delivery I ever had up to date from a veg supplier. I will def no shop here again. I wish I could attach the images of them!
