I purchased a new Makita 18v x2 trimmer… I purchased a new Makita 18v x2 trimmer (roughly $400 total) I received a box that was ripped to shreds and tapped poorly back together. None of the batteries were in the plastic wraps and neither was the double charger. I purchased 4 batteries and only received two. Everything was covered in grass clippings and the unit itself had scratches and paint missing in a spot. I don't understand how this could leave their warehouse. Now i'm suppose to wait for their reps to deem it "returnable" however long that may be, then wait a couple days after to get a return label, ship it back 4-5 business days, then wait another 4-5 business days to get a new unit. Total joke

Good and ugly I purchased 2 of Maxtool 18v "special offer" deals. A jig saw and orbital sander and each came with free 18v battery as part of their "special offer". I was going to purchase a couple of more "special offer"s but when I clicked on the item there was NOTHING SPECIAL. Same price as other online retailers and no free battery. I emailed them and got reply this is a website problem and they removed the "special offer" status from the tools I am interested in. He gave me a code "to save a few bucks". I just noticed there are other false claims for "special offer" on many more tools even after I informed them. Free bare tool: grease gun. If they didn't include the free bare tool grease gun you would receive nothing for $249

They sent incomplete orders that they could not take care of. Filed for a return of incomplete products through their process. (nightmare). Retuned my items. And they won't refund our money. I ordered a Dewalt drill set I ordered a Dewalt drill set. When I went to order it, it stated that this drill set will come with 2 large extra batteries. I thought it to be to good to be true, as these batteries usually run almost as much as what I was paying for the drill set. When I received the drill set, the 2 large batteries were not in the box, so hesitantly I called MaxTools assuming I would have to fight to get the batteries, but I didn't. I mentioned I got the drill set but the batteries were not included and the guy apologized to me for the mishap and took my information and had the batteries in the mail the next day. Very pleased with my purchase, and MaxTools

wrong intake plug connection. Your service is ok but my Reliance generator transfer switch has the wrong 4 prong twist lock plug installed in it. The one prong that is L shaped is shaped in wrong direction than the standard direction that most generators use . The generator cord I purchased does not fit into the transfer switch inlet plug. But my cord fits my Honda generator. 👎
