Sold textbooks & received payment promptly This was a completely pain-free process. I mailed back my books using the provided print-out labels, and within a week received an email from Textbook Maniac that they received the package. After a few days or so, they told me that my payment was on its way and a check arrived in the mail within the 3-7 business day span for the amount I agreed to sell them. The negative reviews on here may be coming from people trying to sell back books in poor condition. It may be important to make sure your books are in good shape before you try to sell them.

I don't recommend selling to them I don't recommend selling to them. The shipping label they send is for Media Mail, which is notoriously unreliable. They quoted me an unbelievably high payout, so I picked them over other options. Well, Media Mail made it all the way to Huntsville AL, which is where Textbook Maniac is located and then... stopped updating tracking. I'm pretty sure the package was delivered without being scanned, but Textbook Maniac told me they never got it. I emailed them several times and got contradictory responses.

DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. THEY OFFER ONE PRICE AND STALL WITH GENERATING POSTAGE, YOU THINK THE SITE IS STUCK AND START THE PROCESS OVER THEN THEIR OFFER DROPS DRAMATICALLY TO LESS THAN HALF. CROOKS WITH NO GOOD INTENTIONS. SAVE YOUR TIME AND CHECK OTHER SITES.

Worst company ever wish I would of read… Worst company ever wish I would of read reviews before I sold my books they claimed one of my books never made it when both of the book where together in the same package it’s no way they got one without the other !! PLEASE DONT SELL BOOKS TO THIS COMPANY !!

Good experience! I am not sure why there are so many bad reviews... people are probably getting paid less due to the condition of their books. I gave Textbook Maniac one textbook and a textbook code (both in great condition) and they paid me what was promised fully in less than two weeks. They responded to my emails quickly too, always in less than 24 hours!! I would recommend them.
