GBSCAM! Stay away! The company is a scam. BEWARE! I sent my textbooks to this company on 5/10/2018 and have not received any payment (today is 6/7/2018). I have emailed the customer service three times now, each time they respond saying that my order is "processing." At this point, I do not expect to realistically receive any payment. It's disgusting to me that this company has created a business based on taking advantage of students.

GBGood experience! I am not sure why there are so many bad reviews... people are probably getting paid less due to the condition of their books. I gave Textbook Maniac one textbook and a textbook code (both in great condition) and they paid me what was promised fully in less than two weeks. They responded to my emails quickly too, always in less than 24 hours!! I would recommend them.

GBI just sent them a buyback on 12/3 and… I just sent them a buyback on 12/3 and tracked it and said it would be delivered to them today. Got an alert that said at 2:48pm that said "delivery attempted- no access to delivery location". I so wish I would have checked the reviews before I sent out my buyback I got a strong feeling I'm not going to get my money. What business isn't available during business hours? Not to mention I just discovered there is no way to contact Textbook Maniac about. Guess I'll sit on my hands and hope that dont take advantage of me how I'm predicting. Omg

GBShipped a book out on August 30th Shipped a book out on August 30th, they received it September 4th. Haven't received my money, an email, or a response from their "customer service." Im waiting for a response back saying that there was damage or water though I shipped it in a protected binder and packaging. didn't check the reviews before I sent it. Highly suggest just going through Chegg. Customer service is phenomenal and received my money. Wouldn't trust this company or suggest them until I receive my money.

GBI typed out an ISBN and it was accepted… I typed out an ISBN and it was accepted through the system so I sent it over, but now I'm getting an email claiming they cannot buy certain editions even though it was originally accepted by the website. So, I have to pay to get my book back or they will "recycle" it. Sounds like they recycle a lot of books without any proof that they're doing just that instead of turning around and selling it. Will not use them again. I can sell my books elsewhere with more reliable companies.
