What a difference a few months can make! I joined BistroMD a few months ago. It was part of a larger commitment I made to myself during the pandemic to focus o my health. Since starting, I have lost over 40 pounds (60 more to go!) and have regained a bit more control over a key aspect of my life — what I eat! The meals have retrained my eye to healthy portions, reduced the amount of processed food I am consuming and “encouraged” me to have helpings of vegetables every day. This may all sound pretty basic but I know that the hardest changes to make are the “basic” ones. Thanks to all the folks at BistroMD who have contributed to my ongoing success. I’m really on my way to better health!

I got this for my dad I got this for my dad, 85yo, who was finally serious about following a low sodium diet. He was in the hospital twice in one month for congestive heart failure. He had to change the way he was eating if he wants to live. He and my mom both have diabetes also and find it hard to stand for long periods to cook. They relied heavily on prepared food and eating out. They have had this delivered for about two months now and love the food. The variety and the ease of just popping it in the microwave has been amazing. Both have lost weight have reduced swelling in their legs and feet better sugar readings and are just doing better in their health. The customer service has been great Emily and another gentleman I spoke with were very helpful. They even arranged for my aunts and uncles to pay for a few deliveries for a Christmas gift. Over all this company has exceeded my expectations on every front.

Diabetic meals found here seem to treat diabetes well (not a medical claim) I took the diabetic meal plan had my brother eat it. His fasting blood sugars are always high. Twice in a row when he had the meal for dinner he literally had normal glucose readings (80s-90s) the next morning. It seems that the diabetic meals are very well formulated that they can treat diabetes in someone who has uncontrolled diabetes for over 20 years. This is not a medical claim. This is an observation. It may seem expensive to buy delivered meals like this, but when you consider all parts of the equation (time, buying the food, gas money, cooking, etc)...it's actually worth it.

Emily is Great!! Emily in particular is always very friendly and helpful. The food tastes great too. The FedEx office occasionally delivers a day late but when we call it in Emily remembers us and takes care of it right away in a very professional and friendly way.

FedEX delivered late - BistroMD fixed the problem immediately Sometimes a situation happens that’s out of someone’s control. It’s not that it happens, it’s how the situation is rectified that matters most. Todd from BistroMD was fantastic in helping me get a new order sent out immediately. His help was much appreciated, but the way he handled the situation by gathering information & helping in such a professional & friendly manner was exceptional.
