About Plenity

It’s time to rethink weight loss. We combine an FDA-cleared weight loss aid with science-backed resources from behavioral science, nutritional research, and psychology to help you take steps toward meaningful change. Plenity helps you eat less so you can lose weight. Made from naturally derived building blocks found in fruits, vegetables, cellulose and citric acid, Plenity helps you feel satisfied. Plenity, made from naturally derived building blocks, is a capsule that helps you feel full, eat less, and lose weight. Plenity absorbs the water you drink with it and mixes with the food you eat. And as you continue to use it, you feel fuller throughout the day. 1. Take the capsules Take three Plenity capsules with water 20 minutes before you eat lunch and dinner. If a pre-meal dose is missed, you can take Plenity during or immediately after that meal. 2. Drink water Pair your Plenity capsules with a 16-ounce bottle of water or two 8-ounce glasses of water. 3. You feel fuller Wait 20 minutes to eat after taking your Plenity capsules, and you’ll feel fuller after eating smaller portions. Plenity® is indicated to aid weight management in adults with excess weight or obesity, Body Mass Index (BMI) of 25 to 40 kg/m², when used in conjunction with diet and exercise. Important Safety Information • Patients who are pregnant or are allergic to cellulose, citric acid, sodium stearyl fumarate, gelatin, or titanium dioxide should not take Plenity. • To avoid impact on the absorption of medications: o For all medications that should be taken with food, take them after starting a meal. o For all medications that should be taken without food (on an empty stomach), continue taking on an empty stomach or as recommended by your physician. • The overall incidence of side effects with Plenity was no different than placebo. The most common side effects were diarrhea, distended abdomen, infrequent bowel movements, and flatulence. • Contact a doctor right away if problems occur. If you have a severe allergic reaction, severe stomach pain, or severe diarrhea, stop using Plenity until you can speak to your doctor.

Lost 22 pounds in 2 months and kept off weight I have been taking Plenity for more than 18 months. I lost 22 pounds in 2 months and am now normal weight since then. I stay on Plenity because it helps me avoid cravings for carbs (as a diabetic on metformin) and I've kept the weight off. One thing they don't mention but I've noticed is is that it made my bowel movements very consistent and I no longer have constipation and diarrhea.

Plenity helps me make mindful choices without feeling deprived. I liked the ease of connecting with a healthcare professional to discuss my concerns and eligibility. I was treated respectfully and courteously. Once I began taking Plenity, I was fully prepared for the minor discomfort I had in the first couple of weeks. Plenity supports my ability to pre-plan reasonable meal portions without feeling hungry, and I can mindfully enjoy smaller meals without being tempted to take more than I really need. I am just at the beginning of my weight loss and plan to continue Plenity for at least six months to meet my weight goals. I can embrace long term, permanent change without feeling that I’m always hungry or unsatisfied.

Initially the feeling of fullness was… Initially the feeling of fullness was great and long lasting. It seems as the weeks progress (I just finished week 8), the feeling of fullness is less prevalent. I'll stick with it, although the weight loss is slowing down, which is discouraging after being pretty vigilant with a much lower daily calorie intake.

Not for everyone I don’t believe it was anyone’s fault. I took Plenity as instructed. I workout vigorously 75 - 120 min a day 7 days a week at times. And I’m a runner. I don’t eat unhealthy but not going to say I’m a healthy eater also. I consume alcohol moderately. Since it didn’t appear to be working for me. And I saw minimal weight loss. Decided to just stop taking and no longer place an additional order.
