Worst support experience in recent memory Took 5 months to deliver my order - it was one of those 'print as needed' things so I knew it would be long. Apparently there was also an issue with the print once they. All that would be fine, but once they actually started to ship the replacements, they also tried to charge me for them. I sent out 20ish email to support, where different people answered in various confusing ways until it was finally resolved to be their mistake rather than mine. I definitely felt like none of the agents bothered to read the support history in the ticket at any point the 'help' I was getting was never what was needed, or they were making a point that had been established earlier. Will never order from here again knowing that in case of problems, you'll be SOL.

awesome books, service, occasional great discounts awesome books, no problems at purchases or viewing / searching items...and occasionall discounts help me to buy books even tough exchange rates for where i live makes it difficult. I love Apress

High quality books and great value subscription I have been buying books by Apress for many years now and the quality of the books is generally very good. I have subscribed to Apress Access for the past year which offers excellent value. My only criticism of this service is that it would be better if there was a dedicated reader provided as an app rather than it simply providing books in PDF or EPUB format. The website is ok but can be slow at times and the browsing and searching could be better but it does the job. Overall: good quality books and a subscription that is excellent value. Website could be better, hence the loss of a star.

A Trustworthy and Professional Company Some of the books were print-on-demand, so I expected a slower than average delivery. This was not the case though, Apress's turnaround time is amazing. Their selection of Common Lisp books is unmatched, great company.
