GBJobscan made no difference. Jobscan made no difference. After watching a LinkedIn video about how to stand out as an applicant, I purchased Jobscan hoping it would get me some initial interviews. I used Jobscan on multiple applications and cover letters and I heard nothing back from the roles I applied for on LinkedIn. So this purchase has been a waste of money for me at a time when I am not working. The Power Edit mode is also frustrating as it strips all of the formatting out from your original CV, so if you use this mode it's double the work formatting the content again.

GBGetting NO interviews! I was having a really hard time getting an interview after being on sabbatical for almost 13 years. I finally found out most companies and recruiters are now using an ATS or Applicant Tracking Software to eliminate applicants who do not meet the job description skills and/or qualifications. I had to revamp my entire resume. Big eyeroll! After revamping it 3 different times, I finally found the Jobscan site which includes a template that gives you tips on how to make a ATS friendly resume and Cover Letter. There are tips from recruiters, resume advice, and these are just the free resources. They do have a paid service which, I have yet to try, but may in the near future. Great site!

GBIf you apply for jobs which have 100 or… If you apply for jobs which have 100 or more applicants it is very likely that your CV will not be read by a human but rather being filtered by an ATS. So, if you write "MS" instead of "Microsoft" and the latter form is used in the role description, you might already loose some points. Jobscan helps you to avoid these things, is very easy to use and saves you a huge amount of time if you have to write a lot of applications. What is great, that it shows you not only the missing keyword but also the context in the role description so that you can rephrase your CV accordingly.

GBAVOID! Jobscan is an unreliable waste of time & money I just spent three hours on your platform, converting my résumé to ATS and updating the content - THREE HOURS! - when I got a pop-up informing me that job scan is experiencing technical difficulties and cannot save my work & do I want to revert to the original? Are you effing kidding me – three hours I just wasted - all my work gone. Shame on jobscan.co!!! You better believe I’m going to find every platform containing your reviews and write About what an unreliable waste of time your product is. JOBSCAN IS A USELESS WASTE OF MONEY - unreliable & poorly designed - AVOID AT ALL COSTS - for ATS conversion use to another platform!!!!

GBJobscan worked brilliantly For the first time in my life, I was having difficulty with a job search. I'm highly qualified and recruiters always came to me. But this time, I had to apply, and for months it was rejection after rejection. Then I realized that these emails were coming in the middle of the night, on Sundays....so I realized that an app was rejecting me and no humans ever saw my resume. I saw a YouTube video from a recruiter recommending Jobscan. And it worked like a charm. I got a bunch of interviews and eventually a senior writing job at a top US magazine. Yay!
