CAI have exactly the same complaints… I have exactly the same complaints about Highbrough as the others. They are deceitful, & what gauls me is that they explain their position as if it is the word of law - actually it is not, it is just their fraudulent policy. Actually in much of Canada, this policy is called 'reverse onus' & it is illegal. This company is not truthful & has horrible customer relations, they are fraudulent & dishonest. To take advantage of those who wish to improve their education, & put in disrepute the numerous instructors who work for them is shameful. I wonder if they even know what is going on behind their backs.

THSketchy business model Sketchy business model They prey on those who sign up for their 30 day trial period and refuse to offer refunds when they charge you for a year trial after you tell them you accidentally subscribed. Run far away from these guys.

GBNot worth 2 dollars Not worth the money. The quality of the courses are uneven (some just plain terrible -- but some decent). Platform itself is out of date and not user friendly -- not much effort is put into designing a platform that meets the user needs. One can't choose 10 courses in advance or set up a profile with favorites. No app. Website is glitchy. In general it seems it was designed 10 years ago, not updated and they focus all efforts now into locking unsuspecting customers into year-long memberships and no effort whatsoever into providing quality courses or platform services for the actual members. Do not subscribe!

GBReal learning in bite-sized pieces I'm pleasantly surprised at how much I've learned from some of the Highbrow courses. As a busy professional, it's hard to find time to study long texts about subjects I'm curious about. Too often, I abandon articles or books before finishing them, simply because of the pace of work. Highbrow sends bite-sized pieces of learning each morning, something I can always manage. It is amazing how much information can be packed into those pieces. If I want to explore something further, each day's lesson includes links to other resources, which is invaluable. I'm no expert at the end of ten days, but I've been exposed to the basics and usually some actionable advice I put into practice. Highly recommended.

GBHere's the deal Pros: sleek design, interesting content Cons: content lacks depth and skews toward generic truisms; they don't honor customer satisfaction - if you don't like their product, then you're stuck with it for a year and the $48 USD price Observations: they send the course(s) you choose, otherwise you don't hear from them
