In this case, if the teacher canceled the lesson after it began, no penalties are applied. If you do not like the teacher, then you cannot return the money for the purchased lessons. I don't recommend this app.

Oops!! I inadvertently, through mu own mistake, bought many more lessons than intended. When I explained it to the folks at Verbling, and asked for a refund (which I thought would go against their normal policy of only giving credit for future lessons) they very quickly agreed and arranged for the refund. After two years taking lessons through Verbling I am VERY satisfied. Thanks Verbling staff.

Activate your foreign language! It's great to chat to a native speaker, to activate the target language & get all the help the Verbling platform offers. Great choice of teachers, good material & lots of motivation. Love the flexibilty of booking lessons when it suits both parties & a personalised programme to suit the individual learner. I wish this had been available years ago.
