The very best present of the last years By chance I found a sculpture of a girl knuckeling down to her dog, offered on the internet. This sculpture seemed to me to be my daughter and her Labrador. The price was ok, but there was one problem: I did not know how much is shipping from USA to Germany. I asked via Email, and Martin from Yukon Design Studio anwered me, that it would be less than 3 Euro. And so I ordered the item as a present to my daughter, because I think that it expresses exactly the relationship between my daughter and her dog. It arrived two days ago, very well packed in a karton box and an additional present-box with an inlay of something like foam. Yesterday in the afternoon my daughter visited me, and when I gave her this sculpture, she was speechless and had tears in her eyes. There is something very important I want to say: I had a very nice and heartwarming correspondence with Martin from Yukon Design Studio. It was very much more than a business contact, it was a little bit more like communnicating with a friend, in this manner not really usual in Germany. So, many thanks again, Martin, and have a very good time!

What arrived was NOT what was… What arrived was NOT what was advertised. Much thinner, will not stand up on it's own. The product arrived unsanded and unfinished. Not the gift I had in mind. After sanding to 330 grit and applying Watco oil finish I glued the pieces to an oak base that I fabricated. Now the pieces stand up on their own. After considerable work, some additional expenses I finally had a gift worth giving. I wish I'd just copied their pattern and made the thing myself, and saved the time and money. Bottom line: DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

Be aware 5 stars for the product, but I would have given it 1 star for honesty. When I FINALLY received my order I was pleased. These are cute. But be aware that these are coming from outside the USA. The shipping time and USPS updates are not accurate. The company’s standard response to customer emails tries to be reassuring, but they lack true transparency. You should know that your order will not be shipped within the 2 days that is stated on the website and they are not coming from Delaware. You’ll see true reviews here, but if you Google their web site all you’ll see is 5 star reviews. The reason for that is that they have the option to accept your review or not. AND, notice what they are doing here ….if they don’t like what you have to say, they are doxxing customers. Listing customers personal information is a poor, poor business practice.

I'm writing a second review as I have… I'm writing a second review as I have finally received my orders. They are as depicted on the website so I'm satisfied with my purchase. The shipment was from outside of the country. It took approximately one month to receive my order and had I known that from the beginning I may have not worried about my order. The carvings of dog and person are lovely.
