GBSonora Guitar Course Review The Sonora Guitar Intensive course is amazing. There is a ton of content - more than one could possibly digest - but that's a good thing. The course lessons are short and to the point, with helpful demos from the instructors. The individual instructors are excellent. I've had one on one lessons for about a year. The instructor pushes you; I've improved a great deal. There are many weekly supplemental ZOOM lessons covering a wide range of topics and music genres. The instructors are young and energetic. I highly recommend Sonora!

GBThe Best Guitar Education Ever 🙌🎸🎶 This way of learning the guitar has been such an amazing experience. I appreciate the Sonora team and respect their mission. It truly has been a dream come true for me. I gave up guitar at a younger age due to the lack of practice structure and feedback. The curriculum, masterclasses, open sessions, and 1:1 mentorship provides a constructive game changing feedback loop that is unmatched.

GBBrilliant learning path: Still part of my daily schedule after three years. I started with Sonora back when it was GMI and i've never looked back. I was in a self-taught rut as a player and needed to go back to the beginning. With many years of playing experience i needed a course that understood a seasoned professional needing to unlock a new path without losing my musical voice. My mentor TJ was very insightful and really helped me develop a deeper understanding of my instrument and harmony. Playing should be fun and Sonora is a super enjoyable platform to learn with - I'm still using it daily!

GBThey deliver a wealth of instruction I've been a Sonora student for over a year and I have definitely progressed a lot using their resources. It's pretty pricey, but they deliver great instruction and a step-wise curriculum that appeals to me.

GBOne of the best decisions I've made One of the best decisions I've made. The cost of the program at the time of my participation was roughly the equivalent of 60-minute weekly private lessons for one (to two) years. I benefited immensely from the sequencing and independent pacing of the curriculum and learned guitar in a way I had not been able to through self-led study. When I had more time, I progressed very quickly; and when I had a baby and had to adjust my practice commitments, it was right there, ready whenever I was. Three years later, I find myself wanting to go back through certain points of the program to further deepen my skills. And, unlike private lessons, I can still utilize the program for study. It's not a one-time benefit!
