GBGreat Test for health and Hair carrying genes I have used catscan for all of my breeding cats. They are fast and accurate. If you have any questions there is always someone that answers the phone! Highly recommend for health as well as coat genetics.

GBGreat customer service Great customer service. I had an issue with the birthdays of my cats getting entered wrong and it was corrected and I haven't had an issue since so thank you. As a breeder people say to use Wisdom Panel and even though they are good, I like the layout of CatScan better. I do know they offer one more test for the MDR1 gene, which is nice to know for peace of mind. So it would be nice if that could get added to Mycatscan results.

CAResults are incorrect!! I used this product a lot and I really liked that it was fast and comprehensive. At some point they started using an Edmonton based lab for samples based out of Canada. Since this time, the results are often wrong, they don’t correct them when asked. They loose samples, mix up samples, their results end up being incomplete often. I ordered 4 tests in Nov2024, I have had to re-submit swabs now 4 times, and some results are completely incorrect, some are incomplete, and one has been “misplaced” every time and they are now asking me for another swab, the 4th! I have been trying to be patient but it is very clear to me now that the Edmonton Lab is the issue. They can’t seem to get one thing correct. I will be going back to Optimal Selection as it is now mid-April and I still don’t have results on a test ordered in Nov2023, which I re-submitted 4 times! This Lab is well aware of their mistakes as I have emailed them about 8 times. I finally asked for a refund, and they wanted to give me a credit, but I don’t feel that they’re worth my time any longer. The last results were very obviously not even for the correct cat, all of it was 100% incorrect!

GBFast Results I appreciate the speed that you are providing the test results back in! I love the gene test for the Siberian Corin/bi-metal color! My only issue is that the swabs are too large for a kitten which makes it hard to get the swab under the lip.
