This program is so engaging. I began this course last year, and I love it. The experience continues to push me to learn and grow. It has taught me so much. I am completing a doctorate in Instructional design, allowing me to demonstrate so many skills I would not have known. I can show my expertise through understanding and using the tools needed to freelance. I love that I can join the cohort as many times as I want with the available community to all members. The program has exceeded all my expectations.

There is a lot to learn in this academy… There is a lot to learn in this academy but I love that you can choose your own learning path and bounce between paths if you'd like. I've created a lot of assets for my portfolio and I've received great feedback and support from other participants, coaches, and mentors.

I finally completed my MVP portfolio I finally completed my MVP portfolio. The hardest part was devoting the much needed time to create all the detailed assets and graphics. I got stuck on the simple things at first (ie: font/color pallet/ overall design) and the fear of doing something totally new. I had a really long pause between when i actually enrolled to the completion of my first badge (LIFE). But I am glad that I am being resilient and not giving up!

IDOL Academy is like an immersion… IDOL Academy is like an immersion school for Instructional Design. I have learned so much in such a short time! It's a great community, and I feel very supported by my coaches, mentors, and peers. The IDOL Academy has a pretty vast wealth of learning resources that I am gradually working my way through in addition to the coursework. Dr.Robin Sargent's positive energy has been a great motivator and confidence booster for me. I was hesitant at first but now I am so glad that I made the decision to join.
