It makes ice pretty quickly. We use it daily. Literally 13 months later it broke right after the warranty expired. I contacted Newair's customer service from the website my customer service agent Vanessa was very friendly, apologetic about my issues and was extremely fast to get a replacement sent out. I just had to pay for shipping. Can’t wait to have my ice machine back.

When I called the toll-free #, I was directed to Liz, who was terrific. She was knowledgeable and easy to understand. We covered all of the issues, and she provided me with the requested information.
