GBbeing stuck in Israel without a phone. I rented a phone from Baltimore, which I have done many times before, only to find when we got to Israel the charger part of the phone was broken. I called the American number twice before someone in Israel called us back only to be told he couldn't help us as he was out of phones and it would be about a week before he might have one available. Not acceptable!

GBTotal disaster I ordered phone from AmigoUS for my wife for her trip to Israel based on good experience my daughter had for similar circumstances. This time around it was real disaster from the very start. Phone I got was epic old in any dimension and had “bug” in it. So, it took real afford to figure it out and reprogram it. It seemed working but to check it you need to be in place/Israel and over there it (phone) was DEAD on arrival for reason I would never know (battery or charger or … who cares now). I contacted customer service and was surprised how nice and willing to help was person I spoke with but with all his efforts it did not work out. I would never again use this phone rental service and would not recommend it to anyone.

GBI've used Amigo's services multiple… I've used Amigo's services multiple times and in multiple countries. Each experience has been wonderful! This past time I had to make a last minute international trip (I found out that I had to travel 3000 miles with less than 24 hours notice!) and Amigo was able to get me set up with a phone and SIM card really quickly. If your traveling, you've got to go with Amigo!

GBpoor implementation My phone was not connected on the correct date. I stayed without communication for 4 days, until I received an e-mail stating that I should have returned the phone one day before arriving at my destination. The response was not apologetic, but curt and short to shut off and turn on the unit again. I should not be charged at all, for the inconvenience. I gave the number to a pharmacy for a large order of medicine, and they did not contact me since the phone was not operating. I had to redo the whole search in a different city, since by the time the phone was working, I was somewhere away from the original location.

GBNation wide coverage. I rented an unlimited data Sim card from Amigo. I had continual service from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem and from the Negev to the Golan. The GPS on the phone was active throughout the entire trip. The service was better than anticipated, all though service was limited, as expected, in rugged areas.
