Falsely advertises for sale products they do not have At best, this company is falsely advertising an older remote control as being in stock, but when I questioned them via email as to whether the Sony remote in my cart would look exactly as pictured, they admitted they would ship a different newer one because Sony quit making RM YD017. I emailed them back that is false advertising of a product they do not have.

Misled twice, try eBay first If you are looking to replace an old remote I suggest searching eBay first. Remotes.com listed my oem remote as available. I ordered this remote but received an email several days later informing me my order was canceled because the oem remote was discontinued by the supplier. On the Remotes.com search results page for my remote there was also the possibility of what Remotes.com called a "Custom Built Replacement Redi Remote". I corresponded with a couple of customer service representatives and they told me how great the replacement would be, full functionality and everything. I ordered the replacement remote but received an email a few days later indicating they could not successfully program the replacement remote, too many error codes overwhelming the system. I did not lose any money but lost two weeks search time looking for a desperately needed remote. Remotes.com should not have web pages with items they cannot fulfill.

This company is pure fraud This company is pure fraud. When you call them they will say they have the remote control you need. If you pay, you won't see the money anymore and you won't get the remotes because they'll tell you they don't have one.

Pioneer VSX 3900s receiver replacement remote I have a Pioneer VSX 3900s stereo receiver that I bought new in 1991. I still have it in 2020. Only problem, the remote died so I turned to Ebay for an OEM remote. I bought three and two were DOA so got refunded, the other one lasted about 3 months. I decided to hit the internet to see if there was anyone who sold an equivelant and came across Remotes.com I found my remote model and ordered one. Today it arrived, already programmed and was provided with batteries. The main reason for ordering this remote was so I could use the delayed function on the surround, and this remote has it! Don't just take my word, read other reviews as well Read other reviews. They falsely advertise remote control models that they do not possess and clearly have no intention of updating their website to reflect this. They send you a different model (which you can get many places cheaper) and tell you to use it instead. What this company is doing is classic bait and switch and is actually illegal and I will be reporting it.
