GBIf there was negative stars I would use… If there was negative stars I would use that. My 91 yr old mother called to get 500 mbps internet service and was duped into a 1 gig internet and mobile plan - she needed neither and the salesperson completely took advantage of her. I called and emailed multiple times and they still charged her and went so far as to schedule an installation. After being transferred several times, I was transferred to a very helpful gentleman named William in redemptions who was able (I hope) to cancel the service. Now I am being told the refund will take 45 days. This is a complete scam- they charged her card within minutes of the initial call and even though I called and she called to cancel within 90 minutes. I am going to petition her retirement facility to switch away from Optimum asap and move to a more reputable company that doesn't prey on senior citizens.

GBEXTREMELY POOR SERVICE With Optimum mobile about two year. Stayed with them till now bc it's affordable. Service was not good from the beginning. Very poor phone strength. was sporadic in beginning so I stayed. Now it's outrageously awful. Constant dropped calls. problems calling out, getting incoming calls even checking voicemail I get dropped. Even if they offered the service free I would not accept it. Going to Visible. Hey Andre why would I need to contact you? Your service is clearly not fixable. I left and not regretting it. much better service with Visible.

GBLittle regard for customer of 22 years Terrible customer servcie, new customers are offered $35 per month, yet as a customer of 22 years, I cannot get this rate. While I did get a discount from $117 month fot $97, it is a far cry from internet service (have it and it is working great) that is faster and half the price. Now on the phone with customer service and waiting 30 minutes on hold to cancel -- really! Hope this message is read by Optimum management team to realize that this level of service can only have a negative impact on your business. So many other terrible reviews!

GBThreats of Collection after cancelling Mobile service with clear balance The rep demanded that I pay off my balance before my service could be canceled. So, I paid off the balance, and the rep canceled my service. However, I've continued to receive bills and have been warned that my service would be suspended. Subsequently, the warning letter has turned into threats that my bills would be sent to collections if I still don't pay. What a horrible, incompetent, and scary service!

GBI switched to Optimum Mobile in hopes… to save a few dollars. I switched to Optimum Mobile in hopes of saving a few dollars as I'm on a fixed income and my internet/phone service had increased by $22/month. They gave me a $5 discount per month on my internet/phone if I took their $25/month mobile plan as opposed to AT&T $65/month. It wasn't even a full week and already they were sending me text messages to up my service for more money. When I inquired about these text messages the agent stated those were only suggestions and that nothing would happen with my service. Today my service tanked and I have nearly ZERO bandwidth using the mobile data. BACK TO AT&T...!
