Simply NUC reached out to me to establish a better understanding of what I was needing. We adjusted the order, the equipment came to my house and I could not be more pleased with the performance to date.

First unit Issues I plugged in, and started the Windows setup on the first computer, NUC13OXv9 7H00297 On the first restart, it failed to access the NVME card boot. I waited 5 minutes, then just pulled the power, waited 2 minutes, then it started up. This repeated itself after connecting to thee Domain, and restarting. Also, the fan is so loud that it is extremely annoying, and difficult to ignore. So far, only 1 out of 5 stars. Appears to be just as fast as the NUC13ANHi7 unit, with 64GB, which has no noticeable fan noise.

Lead time excessive Lead time excessive. Was advised that lead time was 1-2 weeks but production is usually inside of the lead time…yeah, not so much. The only way that I knew anything after paying in full and the initial and only email was an email from FedEx notifying of a shipment coming. I have the computer so all is good but don’t expect communication.

Had a great experience with SimplyNUC Had a great experience with SimplyNUC. I ordered during the long, covid-impacted supply chain problems, and SimplyNUC communicated very well about it. As to the product, it’s fabulous. My Panther Canyon model chugs away as my household Linux server doing hw transcodes for Plex, hosting Too Many Minecraft servers etc etc. Great stuff. Great company.

Intel NUC Extreme Dragon Canyon i9 I worked with Abigail Ince to walk through a few questions, and to select/spec out my new machine. I ended up choosing the Intel NUC Extreme kit with the Dragon Canyon i9, 64GB of Memory, a 1TB SSD, and the AMD Radeon RX 6600 XT. This thing is a DREAM to run. I actually use this for my work as a Cyber-Security Architect, and have it Dual Booted with Windows 10 LTSC 2022, and Kali Linux. Both OSes, and all my utilities, just flat-out FLY on this machine, and I couldn't be happier. :-)
