GBThere and back again, a battery’s tale I was looking for a replacement real-time-clock (RTC) battery for my Toshiba portege z835 and ordered a battery. When the battery came, the connector didn’t fit the existing connector. The website said z935 and I got the impression from other websites that z935 and z835 used the same RTC battery. I contacted customer support to see if either myself or the company made a mistake. I sent pictures of the battery with some caliper measurements of the connector plug, and they were able to find a compatible replacement. I was able to replace the battery and get rid of my bios boot error. Kudos to Rome for breathing new life into my old laptop and for working with me to find a replacement. You may have better luck sending a picture of your battery first to customer support before you buy if your exact model isn’t labeled in their site.

It really is that simple. the case is built to fit the phone and it performs it's designed function. While other companies try to add in bells and whistles that seem more appealing, (like a POS screen protector that actually interferes with operating the phone) those bells and whistles make for a poorly designed, excessively expensive case

I then received above and beyond communications from Rome Tech ( several pleasant, unsolicited and sincere inquiries regarding how to correct the issue). Five stars for customer service !! … which sadly fails a lot these days
