GBFTM2019 Sync-Download 5 mth Issues I have had FTM for yrs from 2017 to 2019 versions and absolutely loved it till now. This latest update FTM2019.24.2 broke the sync and upload/download for Ancestry.com site. Since Feb 2023 to-date, this has been a 4-5 mth unresolved issue rendering its usefulness a mute point. I'd pay of a 2023 Upgrade that fixed the issue, but till then I'm stuck using the online Ancestry tree which sucks. Plus, a relative just (6/10/23) bought FTM based on my earlier recommendation and was not advised they would not be able to download their existing Ancestry tree. That's a bit unethical.

GBI called Family Tree Maker tech support… I called Family Tree Maker tech support to get the new update. I haven't used Family Tree Maker in years, and the latest version is very different in every way. Not having time to learn the system yet, I asked the tech support person, Randy, to do the install for me. He was very good natured, patient and helpful. Even with an internet booster, my phone connections are sometimes garbled, as was the case today. Randy perservered with me through several calls until everything was done. He answered any questions I had and also encouraged me to call back anytime for help and information. I would recommend Family Tree Maker especially because of the good experiences I have with their tech support. Good customer service is a rare commodity these days. Kudos to Family Tree Maker, and their tech support representative Randy.

GBAJ Got My whole program of Family Tree… AJ Got My whole program of Family Tree Maker-2012 working faster and merged duplicate Families. Between what AJ and Annie did, they saved me months that I thought I was going to have to use to re-input all the data that I thought I had lost.

GBWonderful Experience... Nemo, has been beyond words in helping me with my problem. No only did he take care of that but educated me in so many ways. GBVery prompt and helpful. Very prompt, courteous and helpful. Mia did an excellent job of converting an old file format for me and I commend her for following up. Highly recommended for reliable support considering that I hadn't used the FTM program or service since 2013 until now.
