No "unlimited" data! RedPocket advertises unlimited data plans with "a reduction in speed once allotted GB is exceeded." But in my case reduction in speed did not mean slower data, it meant NO data. Two "troubleshooting" chats of 60-90 minutes each could not resolve this problem. I kept being told that streaming would not be possible at slower speed, but the problem was NO data at all, not high-data applications. I noted this issue within weeks of starting my annual plan, but RedPocket would not refund me. To make matters worse, RedPocket then threatened to disallow porting out my phone number (i.e., holding my phone number hostage) because I started a credit card dispute. Beware when dealing with this scammy company!

Great price and good service! transferring my own number and setting up my new phone worked great, and I’m so thankful to have such a budget friendly phone plan with everything I need.
