GBGreat PC's with questionable customer support I placed an order for a high end laptop at the end of 2023. The initial laptop sent out had a GPU that was malfunctioning. Origin made it right and sent out another one, took about another two weeks. I had an issue with that laptop that was honestly my fault and I sent that back in due to my original order being toast. Just assumed this newer one was as well. I sent in my laptop again and Origin had quite a time getting to me/working on the issue/returning my laptop. Trying to get in touch with them wasn't the easiest. I purchased from Origin based solely off the customer service they tout. Fast forward 3 weeks and I finally had my laptop. Management from Corsair/Origin stepped in once they learned of the issue and offered to help me out in other ways, which was appreciated. I feel like Origin is a good company that simply needs better on the floor management when it comes to customer support and inquiries. My hardware is impeccable. But, getting in touch w/ Origin isn't the easiest at times... Thanks for helping, Jake!

GBNotifications & Details When I didn't receive notifications about the status and details of my order, I reached out to the sales team. They were quick with responses, patient, and did their best relevant to the questions asked.

GBI bought the Chronos V3 in white I bought the Chronos V3 in white. Super easy buying experience. Received consistent notifications and feedback along the way, setting expectations and building excitement. Build quality was good, though one side panel of the rig was popping out on delivery due to the pressure from some wires that couldn't fit all the way inside the metal enclosure I guess. I was able to get the siding snapped back in place, and all is well. I know there's pressure on that panel, so will keep an eye on it. This is what's keeping me at 4-stars. Overall, the machine looks and works great. I'm a happy buyer.

GB$6000 PC shipped with a bad cooler, service rep lied. $6000 PC shipped with a bad cooler. They tell me it is "the only one compatible" with my system which is an outright lie. They say this because it is a Corsair cooler and Corsair is Origin's parent company. They HAVE to push these products and can't admit that they're defective. The cooler in question is notoriously unreliable and Corsair needs to get rid of them. I have been building PCs for over 20 years and bought this PC from Origin for the convenience, now I am behind on work and have to fix this machine when my new cooler gets here. Not happy at all for $6000.

GBGrad School B+/89% Almost perfect production and sales This is not my first Origins computer. With a few exceptions, the reason for my 4 star, the service was exelent. Due to a recent warehouse move, the system was delayed a few days. There was a further delay in the shipping department due to custom graphics added, and the printer being down. This was not revealed until after being in shipping for 4 business days. I was given the option to remove the graphics with a refund, which I took. The machine was shipped within a few hours. The principle resin for only loosing one star. Addendum: the printing was completed prior to shipping. This could have been avoided with better communications between the graphics department, and sales support staff. This is the principle resin for the grade reduction, as it is a production machine, and not a gaming device. And time is money. That being said, I would not hesitate to go through the process again. Eddy and the team performed admirably. Will revisit and review after 2 weeks of operations.
