USNative Union cables are THE BEST and not too expensive I have purchased many, many high-quality cables over the years… you can't just go and buy cheap cables at your local convenience store or gas station!! I have generally counted on Apple's superior - and expensive - cables for iPhone, iPad and MacBooks. Native Union's cables are not only superior in every way, they are also well-made, strong yet attractive with unique colors and features, such as the double-connector supporting USB-C and Lightning ports. Now, my go-to cable is Native Union.

PLTerrible delivery experience ruins all the fun from the product Ordered a laptop sleeve on April 10th, payed more for express delivery - aaand it’s still not here, without any updates. I had some of their other products, generally speaking they’re very good, but unless you’re ready to wait unreasonably lot (priority delivery or not), don’t buy from their website. Very poor service, better look for other retailers

AUA once-reliable brand no longer trustworthy, fallen to cheapness TL;DR - Pair of expensive cables didn’t even last three years, compared to a 2017 cable from same brand that endured for 7 long years. - No support from Native Union. - Drop in quality of products over the course of years. I’m in shock, actually. Today was the final dissapointment that forced me to share my experience and warn others. First, let me preface my review with an anecdote. I discovered Native Union (NU) years ago in 2017, when I wandered into an Apple Store and wound up buying a NU charging cable for my phone. That cable was costly but extremely reliable, never failing on me once. This led to me becoming a patron of NU, frequently and excitedly ordering cables and accessories from them. The year was 2021, I needed a pair of USB-C cables for my devices so I went straight to NU and didn’t hesitate to buy from them. I expected to have two trusty new cables that would last years and years just like the iPhone charger I bought from NU years past in 2017. My experience with the two cables was persistently ominous. The cables were too easy to be pulled out from devices. With a light tug, it was out. I recall this was advertised as a feature that saved devices from being ripped off the desk with the cable, but my 2017 cable did not pull out like this. Some insidious cost-cutting was at play, I gathered. The next thing that caused me to raise an eyebrow at NU as a company, was the discrepancy in how they brand themselves as a French-based innovative company but their business address is in Hong Kong. That dishonesty still makes me queazy. In 2023, 1 of my 2 cables died. That wasn’t right. There was no reason the cable should have failed after such a short time. No I didn’t abuse it, yes it was costly and yes, it was marketed as durable. Despite being frustrated, I sent a polite support request to NU. NU did not answer my support request. There was no response. I got nothing from them. By this point, my trust was totally gone in this company. An additional slight to inform my opinion, a screen cleaner I bought once was amazing. The second time, it was defective and didnt spray period, at best it freed a fear bulbous drops of cleaning agent. I’d lost 1 of 2 USB-C cables but still had 2 devices that needed charging. I adapted, found an old cable to use in the stead of my broken NU cable. I had 1 NU cable left and I knew I wouldn’t be ordering from them again. This review exists because today the second cable I ordered 2021 failed me, in most stunning fashion. I picked up the powerboard my cable was connected to, and placed it on the ground. When I retrieved the cable, the USB-C dock was significantly bent. I was in disbelief, how did this happen? I tried to fix it, I bent it back to straight and plugged it into the power socket and into my device. It was broken. Now I am without a cable for my devices. I’ve yet to find a new brand to buy and might be rationing my cable between my two devices. I never expected that having reliable cables was in fact a privilege, especially with the cost of entry. Remember that cable I bought from NU in 2017? It died this year, after seven long years. It was withered and needed to be plugged in at a certain angle for a short while before eventually going to electronics heaven, but it earned that death. It is inexcusable that expensive cables from the same brand lasted a fraction of that cable’s lifespan. I’ve had too many poor encounters with Native Union and my trust in them is gone. Overpriced and haughty in its brand identity, cheap production quality.

USbought one of the latest laptop stands bought one of the latest laptop stands, and while it looks nice, it's not as usable compared to the ubiquitous mstand rain design mount that most people use with macbooks. the native union stand has a tall front lip to secure the laptop in place, but because of this, it blocks access to the groove to open the lid of the macbook. other laptop stands have a cutout in the center to avoid this issue. native union could have been more thoughtful about this design. also the bottom area is meant to function as a tray but it has no lining on it so anything you put on it has potential to scratch since it's metal. the only thing preventing me from returning this is the hassle of contacting customer support and potentially being responsible for return shipping.
