I used FreeTaxUSA for the first time… I used FreeTaxUSA for the first time this year. When compared to its competitors, I found it very easy to navigate and very affordable. My tax return has been accepted and I hope the process remains as smooth as it has been. I definitely recommend it.

I jumped the turbotax ship... Longtime turbotax user here. Until yesterday. I jumped the turbotax ship at the eleventh hour (everything was input, I was all set to file despite being somewhat aghast at the steadily increasing service fee). My buddy sent me a text saying he finished filing. I asked what service he used. He said freetaxusa for 14.99. I immediately hopped on board and found it to be a friendly, seamless interface, all my numbers lined up with turbotax. Very glad I found freetaxusa. By the time I bailed on turbotax, the fee had reached nearly $180.

Repeat customer, totally recommend. Just used FreeTaxUSA to file my individual fed & state income tax returns for the 7th year in a row. As always, very straight forward experience with no BS. Simple, fast-loading interface with succinct explanations for terminology and boxes that I need help understanding. They are good for both W-2 wages and/or business income. The state portion costs $14.99. Totally worth it. I've never tried the add-on pro services, although I can only imagine that it's good, if you need it.

Worrying about security issues! I have no problems with FreeTaxUSA EXCEPT I can't find a way to talk to someone about a message I keep getting. "Already Signed In We noticed you were already logged in to this account elsewhere, so we safely signed you out. Please sign back in to your account now." I am not already logged in elsewhere!! Who else is logged into my account when I am logged in? I'm really concerned about security issues and can't find a way to talk to someone unless I pay for Pro Support. HELP!
