FS is a total mess and not worth the effort The tree is a total mess and any advanced genealogist would know that. Why bothering spending time uploading or entering information when any Tom, Dick or Harry can change it at bey. No thanks. I'll keep my tree on my computer and in my family and not somewhere on the internet where buffoons like certain members of FS can mess it up. As for support several members on that site were reported for abuse towards others but what do FS do? Allow them to keep their membership. Best advice I can offer to others just starting with FS is to not add your information as it will probably be changed in a matter of days by the FS bullies. The records are good on the site but the tree itself is totally corrumpted.

You have been adding wrong people and missing correct people ou.t I am not a beginner I have been tracing my ancestry for 50 years and my Duckett line goes back to 1605 in Shropshire very disappointed your trees are not easy to fill with correct details am giving just one star so please remove my data before anyone copies the wrong info You had my Husbands Grandmother down as Elizabeth Ann Tuffner or something similar nshe was in fact DUFFY

I'm so incredibly grateful to Family Search I'm so incredibly grateful to Family Search. In one day, I learned more about my family history than in my entire life. I found the exact towns several of my great-grandparents were from. I also found that my great-grandparents lived in the same building I always hang out in, and that I always felt a magnetic attraction to! I even made an offer for an apartment in the building right nextdoor and was in love with it without even knowing that family lived anywhere near there. It was the best feeling to find this family synchronicity and to know it will be possible to visit the towns of my origins. Many thanks to Family Search for this magical gift!

Lied About My Family Tree I used to like the site until they turned into liars and frauds. They sent an email to me on March 13, 2023 stating i was related to George Washington. The instruction was to click again to see how. It then said I was an eighth cousin once removed and provided my family tree as supporting evidence. I told my grandkids, who were naturally excited and wanted to tell their friends, but their mom suggesting holding off until further verification. I could not find any and a few days letter, followed up with Family Search and was told I was not related to George Washington at all. They had faked the name of an ancestor on the family tree it turns out. What was gained by them for such blatant lying, I have no idea. I will never trust them again for anything.

I thought this was a great website that… I thought this was a great website that led me to ancestors I never knew about until....... I followed several lines of my supposed ancestors including Kings and Queens of England, France and Spain and countless other royalty all the way back to Julius Caesar. It became suspect at the very least. The complete deal breaker was the line that showed I was descended from the marriage of Jesus and Mary Magdalene. This is a disgustingly dishonest ripoff. I feel ashamed to even give it one star.
