How can FamilySearch Get it So Wrong? How can FamilySearch just alter my family tree with spurious entries through sloppy research? Some of their additions are just plain wrong which doesn't exactly fill one with confidence!

You have been adding wrong people and missing correct people ou.t I am not a beginner I have been tracing my ancestry for 50 years and my Duckett line goes back to 1605 in Shropshire very disappointed your trees are not easy to fill with correct details am giving just one star so please remove my data before anyone copies the wrong info You had my Husbands Grandmother down as Elizabeth Ann Tuffner or something similar nshe was in fact DUFFY

FamilySearch to search many records... FamilySearch allows me to search a number of historical records and every week they add many new records. One other good tool is their hints email which automatically send me names of people who I may be related to and are not connected to my tree.

I started using family search c.2006… I started using family search c.2006 and always found what I was searching for. But in the last few years some changes must have been made to it because finding what I have typed into the search boxes has become an infuriating task. I put in the terms, e.g William Cato - but get William Edward Cato or Frederick Cato....anyone but the person I'm looking for and always outside or inside of the date I've specified. It's a really frustrating experience now whereas before it was simple and I always found what and who I was looking for. Which ever techs ruined this site should be fired. And, to the 7th day adventists PLEASE put this site back to what it used to be - Wonderful, Helpful, simple to use.

I'm so incredibly grateful to Family Search I'm so incredibly grateful to Family Search. In one day, I learned more about my family history than in my entire life. I found the exact towns several of my great-grandparents were from. I also found that my great-grandparents lived in the same building I always hang out in, and that I always felt a magnetic attraction to! I even made an offer for an apartment in the building right nextdoor and was in love with it without even knowing that family lived anywhere near there. It was the best feeling to find this family synchronicity and to know it will be possible to visit the towns of my origins. Many thanks to Family Search for this magical gift!
