GBMint is better Was better service & pricing before dirty dish bought them out. Switched to Mint far better service and saving half my prior cost still with no contract!

GBNo cellular service REVISED ALLS GOOD I called Support today and the tech was able to help me reset some settings that fixed my connection issues. All's good now! I'm primarily connected to Wifi all day. Occasionally I see the voicemail icon. When I try to check it, I receive a message on screen that no Cellular network is connected. I have 0 bars unless I restart my the phone. I don't ever remember this happening the past 7+ years with Republic. If I make calls over wifi, why do I get this message. Going to give it a little time before I move to another provider.

GBSwitched to Republic Wireless over 6… Switched to Republic Wireless over 6 years ago. Initially it was a wonderful option to expensive plans offered by the larger companies. Worked great with no issues until a few months ago when Dish bought out the company. Since then I have experienced multiple issues with texts not being sent or received, as well as calls not going through. I realize the transition has caused glitches, however, my phone service has become iffy at best. Switched today to a main carrier. I would definitely discourage anyone from signing up with Republic wireless, unless consistency isn't an issue for you. I may go back in the future if the serious issues are corrected.

GBSince DISH acquired them, RW stinks! There was no response to support emails, so I had to call in. Call forwarding quit working on the old plan, so I upgraded to the new plan. Call forwarding still doesn't work ("SIM card error" even though everything else works), and support can't help and tells me to call the manufacturer of the phone. Also, there is no more RW app, which stinks, and that's where call forwarding used to live. Now you have to do it in the phone app. Also, it is extremely cumbersome to add more data because it has to be done through several clicks on the website, and it makes you log into the website every single time.
