GBRepublic Wireless has been a fairly good company. Just watch out for system updates. I've had Republic Wireless going on almost 7 (~ 6½) years now. Republic Wireless has been a wonderful for me since day 1! Automatic payments at decent prices. And while paying ~ $25 for 1 gig is a lot these days, I realize that about 6 ½ years ago, along with my Motorola G4, this has been a pretty great deal! The only reason why I didn't give it a 5 Star rating is because although I never had issues with my phone service stopping without me knowing it, Sadly when Republic Wireless was updated it's system from 4G to 5G, my Mom's service got cancelled! Not only this, but they also said that it might take up to 2 weeks to get it fixed. What?!!! 2 weeks?!!! 😮 Honestly, I can't remember if my Mom was able to get them to move the date up for giving her back her service or if she just decided right then to switch. Regardless, it's sad to see a once wonderful service boot off their customers accidentally and then insist that their customers wait for 2 full weeks. 😞 If this had Not happened to my Mom, I would easily give this 5 Stars. And as far as my phone and current plan is concerned, it's still holding up. I was fortunate enough to keep my service through this transitionary phase and my phone (Moto G4) Still miraculously works! Again, except for this recent hiccup, Republic Wireless has been a pretty good company (in my opinion). So I'm happy to give this a solid 4/5 Stars! 😊❤️ Thanks Republic Wireless.

GBNo cellular service REVISED ALLS GOOD I called Support today and the tech was able to help me reset some settings that fixed my connection issues. All's good now! I'm primarily connected to Wifi all day. Occasionally I see the voicemail icon. When I try to check it, I receive a message on screen that no Cellular network is connected. I have 0 bars unless I restart my the phone. I don't ever remember this happening the past 7+ years with Republic. If I make calls over wifi, why do I get this message. Going to give it a little time before I move to another provider.

GBThey Made a Nightmare Out of a Great Company. It was a great company, especially in the beginning. It was high concept back then. Wi fi phones, cell data as needed. Groovy. But over the years you could see upper management losing interest as things began to slip a bit. Since they sold to Dish, it's been a nightmare. Constantly having to call customer service just so I can even make a call. Voice mail hasn't worked for months. Au revoir, serene Republic. I think I will probably never do business with Dish either, now that I have seen what kind of company they are. They're reaching out to me here on Trust Pilot to look like they care. Another call to customer service is what they offer. So that would be like call #6 to customer service? Just so they can perform brand management in front of you, dear reader.

GBNice while it lasted, but Dish broke it. Since Dish bought the service, it no longer does any of the things I valued. No more WiFi first, which was so important to me because I travel a lot. No more voicemail on the phone. I have to call a number like it's 1999. No more messaging through WiFi. A giant step backwards. Republic did wonderful, useful things when it started, but now it is just another fair-to-middling cell plan. I will shop around.

GBVery disappointed with the recent… Very disappointed with the recent changes. I used to recommend Republicans to friends. Now I'm looking for another provider. I can't even access my voice-mail and texts when out of data. I called in about the issues, and was told this is due to the new changes. I'm sad because I had a great 15 years with them.
