No cellular service REVISED ALLS GOOD I called Support today and the tech was able to help me reset some settings that fixed my connection issues. All's good now! I'm primarily connected to Wifi all day. Occasionally I see the voicemail icon. When I try to check it, I receive a message on screen that no Cellular network is connected. I have 0 bars unless I restart my the phone. I don't ever remember this happening the past 7+ years with Republic. If I make calls over wifi, why do I get this message. Going to give it a little time before I move to another provider.

Republic Wireless Not the Same After Being Bought By Dish My husband has been a Republic Wireless customer for many years with very few complaints. However, since the switch to Dish, he has been having problems accessing voicemail and has had to call and speak with a Dish/RW rep several times, always ending up speaking to a supervisor (some of whom are able to correct the problem, some who provide a work-around). I'm now researching other cell phone company plans and we will be switching. Too bad, we liked RW.

I'm with Republic since 2014 and… I'm with Republic since 2014 and everything was good. The purchase of Republic by Dish turned out pretty unfortunate, since all the aspects of service became significantly worse, especially technical support. One bright spot: a representative called Carla (XV3) is great! Her phone support was excellent. Therefore, 5 stars for her, one star for everything else. Staying with Republic for now, but if no improvement will consider an alternative.

Very reliable over many years I've had RW for several years and just found out about the Dish acquisition. I did not experience any changes in my service. Really, RW has been a delightfully boring company. I just get the same low bill every month. Service is what I paid for, consistently. I've had to buy extra data - for $5 - exactly twice in many years.

I've had RW for 6 years I've had RW for 6 years, and it's been great....until DISH bought them. Now REPUBLIC BY DISH SUCKS! After not being able to make outgoing calls and not being able to reach anyone. I called Consumer Cellular. Sadly, I believe DISH will tank RW and go bankrupt, at this rate.
