Ooma does not care about customers I was offered a chance to sign up for a free Ooma account as part of a package deal with T-Mobile. When things went wrong with T-mobile, I canceled my account and returned their equipment. When the Ooma equipment arrived, I called to ask for a return label; I hadn't opened the box or used the equipment. The customer service rep refused to send me a label, and we ended up having to pay nearly twenty five dollars to ship it back! I think this is very poor customer service indeed!

Horrible service Horrible service. Got 4 phones for our business and calls were dropped ALOT when we had service. We decided to cancel as per the no contract deal and it was a joke. After hours of trying to talk to management and numerous hangups, we were charged several hundred dollars for the phones and they now sit in the upstairs tire room of our business.

I do not recommend this company at all I do not recommend this company at all. The service is okay but we switched to a different company that had phone/internet/cable bundled together that was better for our business. They charged my credit card almost $800 for 4 phones that we had for 2 years. The form I signed said you had to pay for the phones if you cancelled service after 30 days or before 12 months and we had them for over 2 years. When you call they say they will credit the money back but they never do. Very dishonest company especially one that you have to give your credit card information to and feel they can just charge whatever they would like. There are many options for phones out there and I would not recommend this one.

It is good for small businesses We have used Ooma for our small business for over 15 years. Overview: the service is good for small businesses with limited phone budgets. It is not suited for call center-type businesses where many lines are needed and with "auto-assignment" of inbound calls. Now the details: The reasons we stuck with its service are many: low price, ease of adding extensions, phone functionalities like forwarding, and digital reception, and it is painless to move the lines to new offices. The reason for one less star is, even though the support team tries hard to help when there are issues, there are big gaps in knowledge and experience among the team members.

My Ooma service goes out frequently My Ooma service goes out frequently, which can be very frustrating. Just today, it went out again. I couldn't say how often it goes out, but would guess that it is at least once a month. The message quality is horrible, especially the voice quality of my greetings message. The voice quality of messages left for on the Ooma device is also poor. The best quality is on my computer and this is why I give Ooma two stars instead of one. I love the fact that Ooma messages show up on my computer and that I can listen to them there. I also have no complaints about quality of the call when I'm speaking with someone on the phone.
