GBI just deactivated foxit pdf from one… I just deactivated foxit pdf from one machine to transfer it to another. Deactivation was simple. Now I can't transfer it. Any online solutions I have found do not work or are so convoluted that they can't be followed. Customer service sucks. I've waited on the phone, but the call cuts off after 2 minutes. They said they do not do human contact. If I did not have a less than 5 months old subscription I would just say forget it, but I have already paid so I want what is owed.

NZTerrible company Terrible company. Buy a licence and then software updates and you are required to buy a new licence and it wont let you continue using the old software. Avoid wasting your money on this company that is obvioudly devois of any morale compass.

GBFoxit support is effective via phone If online support fails, call their customer service number. It really is 24/7 and they really do call back. I was unable to update my Foxit subscription over a month - updating from the application did not work, and from the online auto-chat, it referred me to a download page that only listed trial versions. 1) It turns out "Trial" is also for software updates - their web management is SLOW on clarifying what that link provides. 2) The phone support sent me a direct link to update the software, which works. It may go up to 5 stars, when their web manager addresses the known issue.

GBSolid products and responsive support Solid products and responsive support. We have been using CVIsion's PdfCompressor API for our PDF workflow for the last 6 years and haven't encountered any issues. I'm also very pleased that CVision supports previous versions of their products. Thanks CVISION..

GBSaves gigabytes of space on our network storage Pros: The compression works great and doesn't lose too much qulity. The OCR functionality allows us to search scanned documents, which we didn't have before PdfCompressor. We set up two watch directories, one that's used twice a week and one that's use at the end of each month. The one at the end of the month gets older files, before 2010, pulled in that need to be compressed and OCR'd. This uses up our monthly allowance of pages. Cons: Setting up the watch directories took a little bit to get right but that could be our fault for not reading enough documentation.
