Oak Walk Gamestop (This is for the gamestop at Oak Walk Dr in Oakville, Ontario) I visit Gamestop once every couple of months to trade or buy. My last 2 experiences at the other Oakville location were not good. So I returned the store I originally frequented( the first change was based on distance not quality ) What a difference good customer service makes, Natasha was cheerful, engaging and helpful with my trade. The difference in approach to the 2 stores is quite surprising. I blame it on new hires or management. Nonetheless, thank you Natasha for making my day a little easier. I will surely come again.

Gamestop is trash Gamestop is trash. Especially online website. They charge so much money for delivery its a joke. Imagine spending $100 plus in games and they still want to charge you 12 dollars shipping. What a joke. Ill buy anywhere and not from them.

At first I was confused about why I… At first I was confused about why I needed to show my ID to sell them a game, but then the employee broke down word for word why they need an ID, while GameStop does it to make sure they have the info on someone just in case the item comes up as stolen, in most states GameStop is considered a Pawn Shop and has to follow pawn laws, and I my state that means you must have a valid ID to do so. Honestly so glad the employee explained it to me very well. Only issue was I wasn't getting much back for what I was selling and then the employee said that since GameStop is a business they need to make money, which is why they never give you that high of value for anything that may never sell, they need to pay the store employees, warehouse, corprate, etc., which makes sense when you understand it.

GameStop Doesn't Care GameStop does nothing if your shipment does not arrive. They keep telling me that they are waiting to hear back from investigations team and it been over 2 months now of receiving the same response. Put in a dispute with PayPal and since the items show as delivered they won't refund my money. GameStop has the worst customer service. Do not buy online from them as they will steal your money

former employee, dont go here. i used to work here and was a customer for over 12 years, but sadly this business is a dying business and its not just because of digital games. it seems like every year their higher ups find another way to be predatory, game/hardware warranty's, and the new "pro" membership just to name a few. sadly at this point the shop is a lost cause, just buy anywhere else.
