CAPower in your palm - but weighs like a brick. Too heavy to be a portable - too small to be a desktop replacement. Pro: graphics power, beautiful finish - alienware at its best for a 15" Cons: only a 15" inch for a 6lb+ machine - high in price. Overall if you got money to burn go ahead. Recommendation: buy a desktop: way cheaper for gaming.

CADo you want to burn money? If you have money to blow and you want to spend double the money on a cheap piece of garbage, buying Alienware is for you! The PC case is plastic and the GPUs run as hot as a fire, which makes sense because you might as well burn your money if you buy Alienware. They give you the cheapest and slowest RAM they could possibly get their grubby hands on too. They have a R15 advertised at $4,449.99. Can't be all bad, can it? If you look at and compare the specs, you can custom build one yourself with better quality components for under $2,500.00. Their predatory behaviour on people trying to get into the PC gaming field is absolutely disgusting. It's at the point where CyberPower are whole tiers above these guys, and that's really saying something.

DKDead pixel on a 1000€ display I bought an Alienware AW3418DW in Dec 2019 and already now in Feb 2021, there's a dead pixel. Contacted Dell (Alienware's) CS and they informed me that there need to be 6 dead pixels in order to look at the problem. I could understand this on a cheap monitor but this is a 1000€ piece of hardware. I think most geeks know that Alienware are mediocre at best most of the time, and here it shines. I won't be shopping Alienware (or Dell for that matter) in the future. The monitor outside this is good and I am happy with the rest.

GBI recently bought an Alienware M18 I recently bought an Alienware M18. Within 3 weeks the thermal paste had given out and the company sent out a technician. He installed a new cooling system, but in doing so he damaged the graphics card and reinstalled the case so poorly that the screws were stripped. I had no chance to even open the thing up. The case was so badly warped by his clumsiness that I couldn’t plug in headphones or a mouse. In the end I had to send the computer back to Dell for a refund. Absolute waste of time.

NZThe worst and most expensive laptop we… The worst and most expensive laptop we have owned. Terrible build quality, hinge came out just over one year of normal use. Key chipped off on the keyboard, battery never lasted anywhere near what was advertised. The worst part is their after sale service or lack off. Getting any support or help from their customer service is a waste of time. Currently going through their complaint process. Will do whatever it takes for Dell to rectify their poor product.
