Suboptimal leads and worst customer service Our office tried Nolo.com for 5 months and found that most leads are evasive. The few that we were able to reach wanted immediate answers to legal questions without going through a consultation. In general, Nolo leads are looking for free legal advice to do it themselves. No client potential here. Additionally, Nolo customer service is atrocious. You are never able to get someone at the time you need help and when they return your call, they are rude and want to get you off the phone. This happened every time, not just once. Indication of a sour work environment.

Bait and switch Nolo is targeting PAID keywords like "low cost lawyer" and "cheap lawyer" which I can provide screenshots of. However, the two lawyers I spoke with were $595 an hour (free consultation) and $375 for just the consultation. I have no idea in whose dictionary that would meet the criteria of "low cost lawyer." Maybe if you're in the 1%. These are misleading ads and lead both potential client and lawyer to waste their time. The reviews on Trustpilot say it all. Edit: in response to their response, the point is you're using these as sponsored keywords. Don't. It's a complete lie.

Awful First of all, you should be wary of a "professional" company that has an email ID in all lower case letters...and no personalized name....just the company name. Second, they decided to share internal company emails (emails a customer should NEVER be privy to) with the customer referring to the customer as 'this guy'..... Good thing though was they gave me my money back

Terrible service Terrible service, and shady business practices. The "leads" are not well vetted at all. We were initially persuaded by a sales rep Jimmy Le, who made numerous, false claims and promises. When we attempted to follow up and address issues/concerns with Jimmy Le, he vanished, refusing to respond to e-mails. But, back to the "leads" that we received... many came from people that never requested to speak with a lawyer, were not interested in hiring a lawyer, were inquiring on behalf of someone else, etc. We've spent hours disputing leads and requesting refunds. About half of the requests were fulfilled, while the other half were denied and no refund/credit given. When you appeal the denial, they almost immediately respond upholding the denial without justification. Do not waste your money or time!

Can not use. I order the will and setting up an estate trust download, and inadvertently forgot to order the CD version as well. Because of the Snowden affair, as well as the hacking crises that continues to show up in POP sales, I am (reluctantly) becoming paranoid in using online software. Can I order a CD that I can use offline? I just don't think I have the chops to ward off being robbed, and don't see internet security as enough to protect my assets--whether they are online IRS software programs or will software which enters assets that could be viewed by snoopers. Help!
