DrChrono’s iPad and iPhone compatible EHR and medical billing platform allows users to manage patient intake, clinical charting, billing, and revenue cycle management. It includes customizable medical forms, e-prescribing, scheduling tools, real-time patient eligibility checks, and a patient portal. The DrChrono App Directory also offers a multitude of apps and a medical API for healthcare app developers. The DrChrono EHR offers fully customizable forms or prebuilt forms. Any prescription, including Electronic Prescribing Controlled Substances, can be sent electronically on iPhone, iPad, or the Internet. Lab orders can be submitted electronically to over 40,000 labs around the United States; results can then be directly uploaded into the patient’s chart. Custom vitals give providers the ability to create baseline health data and monitor each patient’s health measurements over time. Providers can use Free Draw function to annotate on diagrams, x-rays or other files; they can also use the iPad's built-in cameras to take pictures and embed them in the patient's record. The system comes pre-populated with billing codes and is integrated with Box, a HIPAA-compliant cloud storage system.

AVOID THIS EMR AT ALL COST!!!!!! My entire experience has been a NIGHTMARE! Firstly, I was never fully trained from day one, it has never been fully implemented. I have limped along for way too long before giving up and firing them! Secondly, I'm having the same issues as everyone else, reach out for an issue, get the first response saying they will fix it, then ZERO follow up. Thirdly, I am in the termination process and they keep restricting my ability to send/correct claims for my final wrap up. By dragging their feet they continue to collect my month to month fee, instead of allowing me to complete my termination process. Lastly, even though I followed the correct termination process and timeline, they tried to auto-renew me for another year! I would NEVER RECOMMEND THEM, It is an AWFUL company! BUYER BEWARE!!!

DO NOT trust this company DO NOT trust this company! They consistently try to overcharge for billing. Literally every month I have to fight with them as the bill they send me every month is incorrect. I am constantly fed fraudulent information about their billing. I am having to get an attorney involved to break my contract with them even though I have documented evidence of them actively lying to me in communications.

New Dermatology Practice In starting my practice, I did several EMR demos. Dr Chrono was by far the easiest to navigate, customize, and understand. The support staff has been extremely responsive, and I've never felt like the system lacked for anything. My billing team likes the interface for their services as well. Best of all, the price point is difficult to beat. I feel that going with Dr Chrono was the single best decision in starting my new practice and I have already recommended many of my dermatology colleagues to their program.

I am writing a review for Dr. Chronos If I can rate them less than one I star I would. We have had all similar problems as everyone is stating here. Customer service is absolutely awful taking out tickets never answering emails because they all probably work from home. How can you run a business without having open communication with your clients. There is no empathy or communication in working with businesses. This is our way of getting paid. It should not have to be so hard. Multiple mistakes and no accountability. I’d like to know if anyone on here has consulted an attorney for consult regarding these issues. This is obviously a huge problem that goes unanswered and definitely not fixed. Our business suffered greatly.

I am never ne to write a bad review but… I am never ne to write a bad review but I am desperate for someone to call me back. I have been calling for the last month with a billing issue, I am having an issue with one insurance company. I am now getting timely filing on several claims because no one from Dr. Chrono has reached out to try to resolve it. I call and sometimes get someone that answers and they say it is going to a manager and I will get a call back that day, I never do . They say there is only one person that can fix this and that he will call me back. As far as I'm concerned they really do not care.
