GBDrChrono USE to be very solid DrChrono use to be very solid, however, last few years has been a consistent decline in quality with software and support. Support often can’t see or understand their own problems. Excuses Excuses. They said “Switching to Amazon web services will fix our downtime “ not true same problems I would argue it has been worse. Bugs Glitches bugs and glitches have no idea what happened to this company. I have another softwares that I use in my practice and when they were down for a fraction of the time DrChrono is down a very sincere UNSOLICITED apology was given and a credit on my account for that month. Don’t ever expect this from DrChrono they just ignore your frustration don’t take accountability and have never given one penny in credit for the loss they create.

GBMediocre EHR, decent but with many issues We use this EHR for a psychiatry practice. It meets our needs though comes with several downsides. The user interface is often times not intuitive and is cluttered. Heavy website can be slow to load in certain pages. ICD code and rx integration could be better. Poor website design leads to inefficiencies in time management which are key to running a good medical practice. There is no way to work one on one with the designers to improve website design or function. Customer service is mediocre though they try.

GBBuyer beware The actual product does not measure up to marketing promises. Migrating patient data over was a nightmare, and there were significant extra costs that were not mentioned up front. Getting EPCS set up had several bugs, resulting in days of prescription delays and a return to writing Rx's for all my patients. The product is not worth the cost.

GBunethical billing practice I used to be a drchrono customer but had moved on to a different EHR. When an old client requested records I contacted drchono and they agreed to let me access records in a read only format. I failed to read their lengthy contract fully and have ended up paying for 18 months of access ($900) despite only needing one client record. Although their actions may be legal they are unethical and I want to warn other clinicians about them.

GBPoor Performance, Horrible Customer Service Truly horrible. Multiple times every month there seems to be a major outage where you are unable to view the schedule, pull up notes, call in prescriptions, etc. Makes treatment on those days impossible and then when it comes back online hours later, I have to stay late at the office to catch back up and finish my charts. It is frustrating to say the least. No excuse why it should be down so often.
