GBWas lectured by a "Yasmin A" Was lectured by a "Yasmin A" Thought was purchasing directly from Google; however, soon discovered that it was "Squarespace" I has emailed squarespace several times regarding issues with their website building platform I was then told to switch to the Chrome browser (which I did) and then was unable to login Did a live chat (because squarespace doesn't allow direct calls) and Yasmin A decided to lecture me rather than help Was told to submit ANOTHER email by "YASMIN A", which I did. TERRIBLE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE BEWARE!!!

GBFraudsters I've cancelled my subscription about 6 months ago and I'm still getting charged even after stopping the auto renew. In short, a scam. Reason why I left and gone to someone else was the endless passages you need to perform just to add one item to the e-commerce. Customer service non existent. Much better cheaper & less time consuming alternative around

GBFull of flaws. It's as if the people at Squarespace have never built a website on their own site... I'm building a reasonably simple portfolio site and have encountered SO MANY issues. The most infuriating thing so far is the sizing. On my laptop and iPhone, my site is fine! But view the site on a Mac and everything changes - and looks really unprofessional - so you fix it on Mac and it screws it up for an iPad etc.. etc. Other issues that seem ridiculously easy to fix: you can't password-protect a page in a portfolio - meaning if you have work with NDA's it has to be kept separate. You are only allowed 3 colours, 4 fonts, 4 sizes. Spacing between different font sizes looks bizarre. And remember, I'm making a simple site- god forbid you actually wanted to have your business on Squarespace. Dog $hite. Go to Wix.

CAPerfect? No. Solid and Worthwhile? Yes. I have four websites on Squarespace (including an ecomm shop) and have been on the platform for two years. I'm surprised by all of the one-star and negative reviews. Is it perfect? No. But no platform like this is perfect. However, I have had few issues and none that were not fixable in some way. SEO is pretty good and all four of my sites rank well and perform well on Google. Sure there are a few annoying things I'd like to see change, but the platform regularly evolves, which is a plus in my books.
