ZAFraudulent billing and virtually impossible to cancel Fraudulent billing policy! Basic subscription plan started at 100 euros per year, billed to a credit card (so you're unaware that there's a Direct Debit in place) then without your consent, auto-renews at 239 euros pa without any communication or notification. There is no way to cancel the service plan on their website. All contact forms lead to a phone number in Ireland, which takes 20 minutes to respond. Then the american operator offered me a $60 discounts as an incentive not to cancel. I don't trust that they have cancelled my subscription and will be cancelling my credit card just to be sure.

GBDO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM SPOT DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM SPOT. They knowingly and purposefully engage in dishonest billing practices. They employ what is known as a "Evergreen Clause" and make it *very difficult* to cancel their subscription services. You will be sorry if you do business with these SOBs..!!

GBWish there was less than one star Wish there was less than one star. Went on a monthly plan, they claim it is a yearly contract. Paid for device separately and still locked into service contract with no service. SCAM COMPANY STAY AWAY

CAPleased with the Spot X I am now on my second year of using the Spot X unit. I am amazed at the amount of negative reviews on Spot as I have not have issues with customer service, payment, texting, tracking, custom messages, etc. Unit has performed above expectations but yes, their is a steep learning curve and I think that is why it gets bad reviews. When I first bought the unit, I studied the manual and found various instructional videos online and it all came together. I am definitely pleased with the unit.

GBSTAY AWAY from this company STAY AWAY from this company! Their device "Spot GPS" does not work most of the time. We've tested it. Despite cancelling my subscription over a year ago, they did the following: 1) Billed my credit card 2) Charged an even higher amount 3) Never sent any notification 4) Never sent any receipt 5) Customer service was slow, they lied, they attempted to gaslight me, and finally begrudgingly refunded my money weeks later ONLY after I reported them for FRAUD to my credit card company. STAY AWAY! THere are better products out there.
