CHBorderline fraudulent billing practices So, apparently my Spot tracker service got renewed each year for over 6 years (my mistake that I didn't check my credit card bills more thoroughly). I am certain that I tried to cancel the service back in 2014 after using it for a very narrowly defined purpose. No notification via mail, almost impossible to cancel now. I will blacklist them with my CC company and suggest to my outdoor shop to at least warn people when selling that product.

GBThis is the most unreliable GPS… This is the most unreliable GPS tracking system ive ever tried to use. Spot 4 would not acquire SAT's after over 10 attempts. Test sequence failed every time. Instructions on printed docs unfollowable as well as online. Very unclear and incomplete. If this device and support from spot is inept from the very beginning how can it be trusted with your LIFE in the field. Customer support person was very rude and her feelings hurt by stating this product sucks without a doubt. My prior experience is with MIL DAGR, and several other products that ive used in the past. Wanted to upgrade and thought this system was up to par. IT IS NOT! UNRELIABLE-Jen O'connell - do a better job with this company!

CAPleased with the Spot X I am now on my second year of using the Spot X unit. I am amazed at the amount of negative reviews on Spot as I have not have issues with customer service, payment, texting, tracking, custom messages, etc. Unit has performed above expectations but yes, their is a steep learning curve and I think that is why it gets bad reviews. When I first bought the unit, I studied the manual and found various instructional videos online and it all came together. I am definitely pleased with the unit.

GBSTAY AWAY from this company STAY AWAY from this company! Their device "Spot GPS" does not work most of the time. We've tested it. Despite cancelling my subscription over a year ago, they did the following: 1) Billed my credit card 2) Charged an even higher amount 3) Never sent any notification 4) Never sent any receipt 5) Customer service was slow, they lied, they attempted to gaslight me, and finally begrudgingly refunded my money weeks later ONLY after I reported them for FRAUD to my credit card company. STAY AWAY! THere are better products out there.

GBAwful customer service Awful customer service. Cannot write coherently, and said "since you are complaining..." which everyone knows is not proper form. Product needing a monthly subscription was not at all obvious from the product listing. Then finding out they charge a $30 activation fee on top of a large fee to not do a yearly subscription was a bummer. This is not doable in today's economy. Customer service rep was totally condescending in his attitude (Carlos) about how safety was worth it. Well, yes it is, if you have the money. But this is so tone deaf to most of us struggling to feed our family. Will be returning the product
