Be warned! If you try to cancel your plan, be careful. They will tell you you're all set and they are sorry to see you go and then they will email you a letter thanking you for continuing your service with them and the charges will continue to be applied to your credit card. If you happen not to notice the charges, they will state that they have a policy of not offering refunds. This company is scamming its customers.

Tried to change my billing date online… Tried to change my billing date online using their 'chat' feature. Numerous attempts and it didn't work. I then tried using their online email to have them change my billing date. Numerous attempts and that didn't work. Tried using a phone number through Google search and received automated response that the number dialed was only for setting up a NEW account. No way to contact these people if you have a problem or need to make a change in you account. Customer service is truly NONEXISTENT!! The actual product and VoIP service is VERY GOOD but customer service isn't there!

I had to argue with the rep to cancel … I had to argue with the rep to cancel my service because I got a bundled package with time Warner. They just charged me for a new month and refuse to credit my account for the month of service I'm not receiving. The rep said they have no way of issuing a credit, how does a reputable company not have that capability.

Incompetent support techs I called support today to cancel one of the two lines I have through Basic Talk. Spoke to a man (Rajesh, in India) that could barely speak English. He refused to let me speak to an English speaking person and then canceled the number I wanted to keep instead of the number I told him to cancel. I called back on my other line to inform him of the mistake and he canceled the other line too. These people are criminals.

The service was fine while we had it … The service was fine while we had it but I went with a triple play. I've been trying to cancel for months. They keep charging my credit card, I call, once the reversed the charge, but since then it's been one horrible call after another. The phone number is for cancellations only, so there is no dispute that that is my intention. I will be cancelling the credit card just to make it stop. Requests to speak to supervisors is useless. Promises of returned phone calls are lies. Never, ever using WalMart again for anything because of this experience. Horrible, horrible customer service.
