The service was fine while we had it … The service was fine while we had it but I went with a triple play. I've been trying to cancel for months. They keep charging my credit card, I call, once the reversed the charge, but since then it's been one horrible call after another. The phone number is for cancellations only, so there is no dispute that that is my intention. I will be cancelling the credit card just to make it stop. Requests to speak to supervisors is useless. Promises of returned phone calls are lies. Never, ever using WalMart again for anything because of this experience. Horrible, horrible customer service.

Number was hacked Number was hacked, and basic talk acted if I was the guilty party, shutting off my phone without letting me know. Suspending my account, not returning phone calls, charging me for service that I do not have. Cannot cancel because no one wants to take responsibility to handle this problem, every one is pointing to the other dept. I am stuck in the middle.

Too many lies. Rude customer service from India where english is uncomprehendable They start with 9.99 but with the taxes and additional fees will end upto 13.00. Then they started charging 911 which as part of the deal vs magic jack is free. Then now the kick it up again. I choose them because they promise they have customer service but they never say its is some rude Indian guys who lies to yo. They promise I can transfer my njmber for 30 days but yhe loophole is they complicate everything...No customer service at all. Never will I take this service nor recommned it at all

BasicTalk = no talk I wish I could give BasicTalk zero (0) stars. The reasons for my poor opinion of BasicTalk are: 1. BasicTalk stated one price for their monthly service and charge more than 50% more for the service. 2.Customer service is lacking I asked a question about voicemail outgoing messgae and reply had nothing to do with the question. 3. BasicTalk sent me an email on 6/3/2014 thanking me for choosing them. As if I just became their customer. Stupid stupid stupid. BasicTalk do everyone a favor and go out of business.

It's Vonage and Service is terrible Service is terrible, dropped calls, no customer support - only email and you wait DAYS to maybe get an answer. Usually any issue is just ignored. BTW, there is no BasicTalk its ALL Vonage. If you complain, someone from Vonage will be calling (from India) and they won't recognize your phone number because they won't have you listed under Vonage. So, its a circle jerk of nonsense. They never address your issues, just ignore and will turn off your service for non payment of a few days even though they won't fix the calling issues. And, as I understand, make it very difficult to cancel your service on purpose. Get rid of this "service" as fast as you can, its a joke and no one cares.
