Shady business that got ‘F’ rating from BBB. I am concerned about the business practices of this software company. 1. There is nobody to take or return the calls. The customer service is almost zero, 2. They want the credit card so that they can continue to bill the card in future. The drop down window at the purchase column has yearly charge included as a condition.

I cannot recommend this product I had problems installing this software before my screen went completely black and I couldn’t use my laptop at all. I unplugged everything and tackled the issue the next day by rebooting my laptop. When I asked Whitesmoke for a refund because there is no way I would go through that problem again, my request was refused as I’d had the software for more than 7 days. From my experience, I say stay away from Whitesmoke. I’ve used Grammarly for years without any problems.

Poor Customer Support Poor Customer Support I am a long term subscriber to WhiteSmoke and prefer their program over Pro Writer Aid or Grammarly programs. However, there is one very annoying fault. They do not reply to support emails requests. I had to reinstall after updating my computer to Windows 11, I tried to reinstall White Smoke and when I tried to enter my Registration code which has almost 10 months to run, was rejected. Many emails to them and phone calls, all unanswered. I don't even know whether they read these customers experience.

Be Suspicious No, No, No. I subscribed online to $6.66 monthly subscription, paid annually. I received no confirmation email and no product. When I checked my bank they had taken £553.30 from my account. In the US, that's about $776. I have received nothing! Sorry, but this can only be described as gross Fraud. Not worth it. I’ll be honest - Do not Purchase without reading terms and conditions. Actually they cheat with the Lifetime plan. The lifetime plan is not actually a lifetime plan, it only lasts for 6 years. Regarding software experience - it is not worth it, you will need to proofread again. It makes silly errors by giving stupid suggestions. Conclusion- Don’t buy this junk. Go for Grammarly or Google Translator or proofread services.
