Do not buy from this company Do not buy from this company. I have been a user for many years. Have two-lifetime licenses. After my hard drive crash, tried to reinstall on a new drive. Activation key doesn’t work. It is more than 2 months as I am trying to get tech support. The phone number doesn't work. Nobody returns messages. Tickets left unassigned, with automated emails threatening to close the ticket after 72 hours. Shame. Good software but none existing support. Reputation is in a gutter.

False advertising This company is not based out of Delaware as their ad would have us believe. The sales phone number attached to the ad does not work. When I questioned a charge from them with PayPal, PayPal looked up their information and found they are actually stationed out of Israel. I would not recommend doing business with a company that operates in this manner.

Poor Customer Support Poor Customer Support I am a long term subscriber to WhiteSmoke and prefer their program over Pro Writer Aid or Grammarly programs. However, there is one very annoying fault. They do not reply to support emails requests. I had to reinstall after updating my computer to Windows 11, I tried to reinstall White Smoke and when I tried to enter my Registration code which has almost 10 months to run, was rejected. Many emails to them and phone calls, all unanswered. I don't even know whether they read these customers experience.

I would give a 0 star if I had the… I would give a 0 star if I had the option. This company is a rip-off. Trying to cancel my auto subscription, and I am unable to talk to anyone. I have left several messages and send numerous emails, but still no response. I am contacting my CC company and dispute the charge. Unprofessional behavior from The Whitesmoke!!

I cannot recommend this product I had problems installing this software before my screen went completely black and I couldn’t use my laptop at all. I unplugged everything and tackled the issue the next day by rebooting my laptop. When I asked Whitesmoke for a refund because there is no way I would go through that problem again, my request was refused as I’d had the software for more than 7 days. From my experience, I say stay away from Whitesmoke. I’ve used Grammarly for years without any problems.
