Once you figure all the things, I think of this as an accountability tool that keeps me on plan but enables enough flexibility that I don’t feel any guilt when I’ve under-budgeted an expense (which happens less often now). And when those shoes start calling my name from inside the store? I now have a little something put aside that the spend doesn’t mean I’ll be dieting for the next two weeks, you know?
