I def needed a budget The web app and iOS app work very intuitively. They're constantly pushing out updates. They've spawned a community centered around budget tips and tricks. They even have a robust video series to help you develop your own budget. As a bartender, income and expenses can be very hard to track. YNAB helped me build security into my budget by keeping track of where my money was going. I owe a great deal of my peace of mind to the convenience YNAB has contributed to my life.

YNAB is easy to use YNAB is easy to use. The most important part of using YNAB is that you give every dollar a purpose once it is deposited. This helps you avoid spending on unplanned impulse purchases. Before you buy something that is unplanned you have to decide where this money will come from which stops you from wasting money.

The last budgeting app you’ll need YNAB has completely changed the way I budget! It is the most transparent and effective method to budget in my opinion. I know exactly how much money I spend in any given month and can predict how much I’ll spend later. YNAB has paid for itself tenfold in the peace of mind it gives me!

I do love this system I do love this system. Once you figure all the things, I think of this as an accountability tool that keeps me on plan but enables enough flexibility that I don’t feel any guilt when I’ve under-budgeted an expense (which happens less often now). And when those shoes start calling my name from inside the store? I now have a little something put aside that the spend doesn’t mean I’ll be dieting for the next two weeks, you know? Best thing I ever did.

I love YNAB I love YNAB. It is like the old fashioned way of budgeting by putting cash in envelopes for each budget item, but way easier. It helps me see where my money is going and where I am overspending. It pushes me to make choices of what I want to fund. I have to make priorities. There are still some parts/functions of YNAB I don’t fully understand/use. Some parts can be confusing, but you can still get going in meantime.
