About RentRedi

RentRedi is property management software that transforms the way you manage your rentals. For landlords, RentRedi provides an all-in-one dashboard so you can collect rent online, list & market properties, screen tenants, sign & store leases, and manage maintenance. You can also add teammates for free and have unlimited units and tenants! Our partnerships with Latchel & REI Hub enable RentRedi to offer our customers additional services like maintenance coordination & rental property accounting software! For tenants, RentRedi’s mobile app allows them to pay rent, report on-time rent payments to credit bureaus, prequalify & apply, get renters insurance, and submit maintenance requests—all from the palm of their hand. CEO Ryan Barone began developing the RentRedi mobile app. However, as he met with more landlords, the difficulties of the renting process became more obvious. It was clear many of the hurdles landlords encountered while managing their rentals could be streamlined with the use of technology for landlords. What started as a mobile application app for tenants had developed into a sleek, comprehensive dashboard built for landlords by landlords. Now, RentRedi is an all-inclusive landlord-tenant app that helps landlords go mobile and manage rentals from wherever, whenever!

WORST APP I'VE EVER USED!!!! My landlord started using rentredi around September of 2023. Everything went smoothly until March of 2024. Our rent would not go through with auto pay no matter how many times we tried (even after going through "Leomen" on chat - which I learned is EVERYBODY'S name on their chat). I submitted March's rent by direct transfer from my bank to my landlord's bank. I kept getting emails all through March telling me my rent was late from rentredi. I told my landlord and she was able to fix it on her end. I am STILL unable to set up auto pay because NOW rentredi says I owe $245.11 (for what, I don't know) and until that's paid, I can't use auto pay. MY LANDLORD DOES NOT CHARGE LATE FEES, so what is the extra $245.11 on my rent tab? What is it for if my landlord doesn't charge late fees? It's not utilities because that's paid through another account. I'm guessing rentredi charges late fees behind the landlord's back??? Are there hidden fees that consumers are unaware of??? Is rentredi scamming people??? And their chat button is a JOKE. Don't use them unless you got all day to sit around and WAIT for them to decide to respond and then end the conversation when THEY'RE done (problem NEVER getting solved). This is the WORST app by far that I've EVER encountered and I've encountered a few shady apps. I would not recommend rentredi to ANYONE and I'm about to talk my landlord into finding a BETTER landlord/tenant friendly app besides this garbage app.

They are horrible They are horrible! Every month like clockwork I get an email from RentRedi stating 3 of my past tenants bank drafts has failed! I haven’t used RentRedi for quite sometime but yet they still continue to try and draft from past tenants bank accounts. This should be against the law! Your bank account is your lifeline! I have written numerous emails and complaints telling them to stop only to be told to go on to the app and request to cancel! I don’t have or use the ap anymore!!!! I have called the phone number they have listed left several messages with no calls back. They act like want to help but they do nothing. Horrible horrible horrible!!!

Rent Redi has jacked us around for… This company has jacked us around for over two months now. The renter paid the $3,400 deposit, I had inadvertently entered something wrong on the account information, it was returned. I could not correct on my own, Rent Redi had me send a copy of an actual check to make sure it would be transferred into the correct account. After numerous "chats" I have gotten nowhere and the money has disappeared. They keep saying that the money was transferred, but to where????? I am sick and tired of this company. I have the renter directly depositing now and no issues there, but RentRedi sends the renter past due notices daily. This company is a major ripoff. Avoid RentRedi at all costs! Ongoing issues, I don't know if we will ever get the deposit money back. If I ever get the $3,400 I will cancel this sorry company from my life. Biggest mistake ever!!! The date of my NEGATIVE experience, goes back two months now. If I could give zero stars I would. Footnote: As of yesterday, 3/20/2024, after two months of "chatting and emailing', there was a solution. RentRedi finally shared the trace number of the transaction on 3/19, I went to the bank, and they were able to locate the funds, the issue has now been resolved. After two months, it ended up being a relatively easy solution.

This app and website are NOT seamless This app and website are NOT seamless. They do not have a "readily available" support line. They advertise they'll respond through chat faster but even then it has taken hours and sometimes more than 24 hours for them to respond to me and once she never did respond back on chat after I submitted the screenshot of the issue I was having which they did not fix! You can only reach a live agent when you call in if you click on "sales" otherwise you have to leave a message for them to call you back. On at least 2 occasions no one ever called me back. I recently called in because it showed on their site my deposit from my tenant going to someone else's account so the "sales" rep pushed me through to the "support" line where I had to leave a message. Still haven't had a return call. They should take support call-ins more seriously than they do sales call-ins because these are their current users that are making them money!!! It takes at least 7-10 days for you to get your deposit even though they advertise it sooner. Also there is way too much clicking needed and unnecessary time needed you will have to spend just inputting a renter's information or that they made a payment. I did not find this company's website or app to be very helpful and I have only 10 properties to list. One thing I did like and one of the only reasons I chose to use this company was because they offered an option to add a team member so I can have someone help me manage this. However, you cannot even see your team member's information on your profile once they sign up, you can only change their permissions from yours which is ridiculous because you should be able to communicate with them through the app or website but that's not an option either. I will probably be going with another company. Just too many issues! Also I signed up for a monthly rate of just under $20 but they raised that by 30% within 2 months of signing on with them.

One Property I have one property, so I just need a simple way for my tenant to make payments from their phone, and set up recurring payments. Rent Redi does a good job with this, and the few times I’ve called for tech support they’ve solved my problem right away!
