CAExcellent Lifesaver for Old Hardware!! I’ve used Vuescan over the last six or seven years for my family/travel Slide and Photo Archive project. The mechanics on my Nikon L5000 are still fine, even though the company long ago stopped supporting it. The VS driver and software keep it and my project(s) chugging along. Well worth the cost and product support is excellent.

GBI bought a used 35mm film negative… I bought a used 35mm film negative scanner (Minolta Dimage) great bit of kit but software was not compatible with W10. Bought the Hamrick software to undertake the scanning ..... it did scanning of 700 35mm slides very well. Only issue I had was with software the Scanner had USB connection issues - didn't have them without the sofware. Fix was a shorter USB lead and it all worked OK.

USGreat program Great program. I have been using the program for many years. I have scanned in a majority of our family photos, both negatives and prints, dating back to the early 1900s. The program is easy to use, does a great job, a variety of scanning options and outstanding customer support. It is the ONLY scanning program I would use!

GBBurying the lede They helpfully inform you that you have to buy the software AFTER you've scanned your first document and seen the large watermark across it. This is after downloading and installing the software.

AUHighly recommended AAA+ I've just purchased a new Epson V600 scanner and am using it to scan a lifetime of Kodachrome slides. The Epson app was pretty ordinary, Silverfast was better, but after reading dozens of reviews I decided to bite the bullet and get Vuescan. The software cost $179-95 in Australian dollars and what a difference! Like any worthwhile app it takes a bit of time to learn but there are many great tutorials out there so that wasn't a problem. Highly recommended AAA+
