GBReliable, fast and safe Swapsy is great. Have swapped hundreds of thousands of RMB for USD with zero issues. The longest it ever takes is about two days per swap, with most being well under 24 hours. The only feature I wish they would reintroduce is swaps for other currencies, or improve support for platforms that don't require a US bank account.

The Swapsy WeChat is responsive when there is a problem, responding within 30 minutes max. Sometimes there is a shortage of trades from USD to CNY, but as long as you keep refreshing you'll find one. Overall I often suggest this service to my expat friends as it is way cheaper and faster than wiring through a bank.
