Nonexistence Customer Service + False Disputes I've used Swapsy roughly around 15 times within the past two months, and recently I've encountered my first-ever issue with the service. Recently someone I was swapping with, falsely reported they did not receive the funds, despite the uploaded screenshots proving my innocence Swapsy still asked me to provide additional screenshots. This wasn't an issue, besides the fact it took over twelve hours for Swapsy to simply reply with "Please wait while we contact recipient." So far, there haven't been any additional updates and it seems I will not be getting my funds anytime soon. This was for a transaction over $500, so I only recommend users using Swapsy for lesser amounts.

First transaction went smoothly First transaction went smoothly. Registered and started swap at noon and received the fund at night. During the period I was contacted by customer service to update the AliPay info, which asked for my email instead of phone for better privacy as the reason. It updated within minutes after I sent the info back. Overall great experience so far.

The Answer for Foreigners in China This app has saved my life in China in terms of finally being able to transfer money out with minimum hassle. So far all my transactions have been seamless, the app is very straightforward to use once your account is set up. I hope this app persists!

I like Swapsy I like Swapsy, definitely easier to send money than going to a bank. My only issues with Swapsy is there customer service is does not exist. I have sent several messages to support and never get a response just the generic e-mail. The second is when we do a swap we have to pay within 30 minutes yet the other party gets up to 7 working days. We should be able to do two swaps at a time.

Convenient and Reliable I've conducted about 10 transactions through Swappsy so far, and each one has been timely and stress-free. Way more convenient (and much faster too) than than trying to do an international wire transfer from a Chinese bank!
