About Skylight Broadband

We are a local Wireless internet service provider (WISP) based in Devon reaching out to rural communities who currently struggle with poor internet speeds. Our Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) network is completely independent from the traditional copper lines and instead use the latest radio technology to supply our customers with a Superfast Broadband connection. We also provide an option for customers who wish to keep their existing phone number by transferring the standard phone line over to Voip Phone.

friendly, helpful and efficient. I found Skylight Broadband to be friendly, helpful and efficient. They were not all "pushy" and dealt with any queries I had effectively without making me feel inadequate. I have not had to get any help since the installation, but I anticipate that their customer service will be first class.

Excellent Company. This was a new service offered via our holiday park owner at our static caravan. After a few ‘teething’ problems the Wi-fi is very good and it has allowed us to enjoy the facilities, I.e., smart TV, Google Home, iPad, etc. we have at home. In addition the customer care provided by the company personnel is excellent and professional. The cost is also reasonable and competitive. I can definitely recommend the Company. Thank you.

Great installation Very happy with the outcome of the broadband installation. It looked as if it would be almost impossible but the two engineers managed to find one site which found a good signal.

Provides satellite broadband where no… Provides satellite broadband where no fibre exists or cant be installed. When the signal is active it's not a bad service, but in a typical month we normally lose a couple of days for outages (which are never explained, communicated, or apologised for), and signal strength varies a lot below the 30 Mbps we pay for. Better than nothing, but overall quite unreliable. Customer Service responds quickly, normally within a day, but never really proactive, or with details of outages or why there are poor speeds in service.

We live in a small communal farmstead… We live in a small communal farmstead consisting of 6 dwellings, all suffering the same unacceptably slow broadband via copper landlines with no solution to our problem. After years of complaints and callouts to BT I heard of Skylight through a neighbour in the next valley. Inital contact was to set up a meeting to discuss solution as we live in a blind valley. Their attending engineer was positive, with a can-do attitude. As soon as my obligation was completed (pole erection, power etc) They installed their equipment in one day and hooray, in one fell swoop the end of all 6 dwellings suffering of slow and non existant broadband, and at a competetive price. Never looked back since.
